I am doing a "Bring a friend" party in a couple of weeks. This is a request of the host because most of her friends don't know each other and she thought they'd have more fun if they brought another friend with them. Does anyone have any games that focus on friendship or working with a partner? I thought I might find some kind of ice breaker too so that I can mix people up a little so they get to know someone new too. I've done lots of themes before, but this is a new one for me and I'm not sure how to work it.

One icebreaker I did at my shows were to pass out index cards and have them label 1-5. And answer the following questions:

1-Name

2-Last movie you saw in theatre

3-Dream vacation

4-Favorite Country Bunny Product

5-How you know the hostess

Then jumble up the cards and have them all draw one and introduce eachother. Very simple yet they really liked it!

Another game you can play is one I did at a baby shower..called "My Water Broke"

Buy those itty bitty plstic babies that are like confetti.

Put one (or two for "twins"smileys/smiley36.gif) in an ice cube tray compartment. Fill with water and freeze.

At the party:

They get in teams of two..one is the COACH and one is the MOMMY.
They must get their baby out of the ice cube and once they have done so
they have to yell, loudly "MY WATER BROKE". Winning team gets a
prize.

I held mine over a candle to get it out. My sil at the ice cube in about 4 seconds and spit out the baby.smileys/smiley17.gif Babies have nothing to do with what you are selling but it is a fun partner game!

This isn't really a partner game either, but I like to play "Have you ever..." to break the ice. Then I ask questions like, Have you ever put something in the frig that doesn't belong there? Have you ever worn two different shoes out in public?

I have a whole list of questions, and I give out tickets if they are willing to share their story with everyone! Then they put their name on the back of the tickets and I pick a winner from all the tickets. The more you talk, the more chances you get.

It's a great way to get the women all talking and sharing stories.

This is a fun "couple" or partner game that I did at a party
recently. You would have pre-printed name tags that have popular
couples or partners(one on each tag). You have everyone at the
party stand in a circle with their backs facing in. You stand in
the middle of the circle and stick the tags on each person's
back. They have to walk around and ask other guests yes and no
questions(one question for each person they talk to, to get them to
mingle). Not only do they have to figure out who they are, but
they also need to find their partner. Some examples of
couples/partners are:

Sigfreid and Roy

Brad and Angelina

Prince Charles and Camilla

I am sure you get the idea! It was fun.
