I'm confused when I hear that consultants who also work a fuul time job (and others) prefer the one on one approach (REsults) because they don't have time for classes. As I have done some of each, the classes take about 30-45 minutes longer but the sales tend to double or better. It seems that I get "paid" more for my invested time when doing classes. What am I missing? Edited by: Kiana's Mom

Hey Girl! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I think there are a couple of reasons. You can do a one on one on your lunch hour so people who work can fit people in at that time. Maybe a person really can't devote two nights a week to parties so they prefer to fit in 30 minute one on ones at different times of the day.

But I think the biggest reason is b/c it is easier to find business builders doing one on ones than it is at parties. If my goal is to personally sell a lot of volume & sponsor one or two people a month then parties are great for that goal. If my goal is to sponsor several people a month & build volume that way rather than personally selling a lot then one on one's work better for that. One on ones are easier to duplicate which, in the end, will free up more of your time than parties are.

Make sense?

it entails more than just "doing" a class, to have successful classes you need to preprofile and definitely hostess coach, that takes more time, plus taking everyone's orders can be time consuming to, so it really does end up being more than just 30-45 minutes more.

I personally signed up to be a consultant because I did not have to do classes.
People are too busy!
If you can find people to do them and want to do them - go for it. That's another beauty of Arbonne - do what works for you!smileys/smiley2.gif

Hey Jennifer! I had a fabulously relaxing Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. I hope yours was filled with friends, family, & love!

I have done more classes than one on ones. Of course gaining more experience in that venue makes me more comfortable with it. They have been relatively successful ranging from $350-$725 or so.I am running into troublebookingthough as I have not booked one class from any of them. I have however signed up 97% of the participants as wb, no bb that way yet. I want to get outside of my comfort zone and do more one on ones, especially now that I am working full time again.

Cassandra, Iagree that I need to calulate the"hidden" time of prepartion, etc. Thanks for reminding me.

Lisa, I agree, I love that we can tailor our business to our needs. I just need to figure out my options andwhy they work for others so that I can fine tune it.Edited by: Kiana's Mom
