Our group of 30+ women is now pretty spread out. We have been looking at separating the trainings as to accomodate driving time for everyone.
Here is my question: Which is smarter?
Separating so that more people attend their local training.
Stay together and make it at a place that is equal drive time for all members....which would be 35 to 50 minutes
Please keep in mind that separating will also mean that we will be conducting 3 trainings a month in different locations which is really a large chunk of time out of my calendar.

Here is what our team does. Every month, different leaders have a meeting in their home. Every quarter, we all get together and that meeting rotates, though is always central.
Also, phone trainings are great for those who have no one near them. Our team will be starting bi-weekly phone meetings in January, by request. But it's a great way to reach out and down.
Hope that helps!

I wouldn't find 35 - 50 minutes to be too long of a drive personally. However, could you get someone else on your team to do some of the trainings for you? That way you could have more trainings but not use up all your time?

I would try to find a middle ground- I think 30-45 min. is fine.
But, If you have a leader(s) in that area,I would have them do the meetings and then try to do a large group meeting every qtr.
And I do a weekly conference call each week to make sure everyone is able to connect.

We hold individual meetings with our Teams and then a Quarterly meeting with the entire group called Consultant Based Seminars which is a 2 day training (mini conference). This will consist of Leadership training, Opportunity Meeting and Consultant training. I will let you know how this works.
Many blessings for a wonderful 2008.
