Just wanted to remind everyone that the deadline for mailing the 2008 Product Guides to clients through Client Connection is tomorrow 12/21. They are only $0.99! That's less than doing it ourselves http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif!

I was looking at that last night debating about renewing my Client Connection and I knew that today was the deadline but know it shows the deadline to be the 25th!

Just curious, how much success have you (anyone) had using Client Connection? Is it worth the fees?Edited by: spa-me-2

I think it could be really wonderful, but I didn't have a lot of success with it. The last time I did it was Christmas last year, and I called clients about a week after they received it, and not one person I talked to had received it. Beauticontrol reimbursed me my money, but I couldn't help wondering if they just tossed it out with the rest of the fliers they receive. After that, I make my own specials or mail out the product guide in an envelope with a special note to them. It costs a little more and is definitely more work. But at least they open it! Plus you can include samples, business card magnets, and other goodies. I've sprayed it with the scent of the season (colognes or room sprays). It's easier to make it your own.

I think to really make client connection work, you need to call clients and warn them that it's coming. Say something like, "there's this awesome new product on page... that I just know you're going to love! Call me when you see it." Then call them again a day or so after it's been delivered. Time consuming, but I hear it's worth it! If you're not willing to put in the phone calls, don't waste your money.
