I was thinking about this last night. If I sent a mass email to all my customers about 250 (includes family and friends) and offered them to do a secret santa type thing. Each person would buy an item at a set amount (there would be some repeated items but not many) and they would pick a number (I would assign each gift a number based on when it was purchased) the first person gift would be #1 and so on but that person would not know the number. Then that person would pick a number and they would get that gift. The hostess free item would be raffled off or I would give them a discount on an item.

So if 25 people bought something for $20 the hostess gifts would be $500 and I would either raffle off 10 $20 gift cert.Or instead, each participant would get a $10 credit towards their product. What do you think?Edited by: amccarthy

I dunno, sounds complicated to mesmileys/smiley9.gifand expensive to you.

I use what's called "buy a kiss" raffle for my parties. It basically works like this: give the hostess a sheet with lips(or since u r focusing on christmas make it xmas trees or something) sell each little square for $2 and then have them sign the square they bought. then do like a raffle and whoever wins gets however much money was raised in credit to spend on whatever they like.

The only problem with this is that only one person would get something - unless you have alot of small samples you can give to those who didn't win. That way it only costs them $2, and you can make a little christmas money for yourself (depending on how much of a discount you get ofcourse)

Hope this helps any?!
