I think I joined on the wrong month. December is a horrible month to start. I haven't got any callbacks, and people won't return any of my calls.....I started w/ this company Dec. 1. I feel so bad......I haven't had any prospects or sales. Guys I don't want to give up.....I really want that Cancun trip!
I know Christmas has been hectic, (I know, I know, no excuses), but that's the excuse I get....it's the holidays....Should I just aim for January?? And if I get something for this month then so be it? Everybody has already spent their money on Christmas gifts....What do you guys think?

I've heard that the things that come through in a month are from the work of a few months past. You are just starting. Don't get discouraged. It takes some time, but things will start to snowball for you. Just keep sharing Arbonne with everyone you know. By next December you will have momentum and it will be a great month. And you still have 8 more months to earn the Cancun trip.

Keep going. The next person you talk with might say YES. This is a business and it's a numbers game.
There are sooooo many success stories out there about how many NOs people got before they got a yes.
Singers, actors, authors, etc. Jack Canfield, Kentucky Fried Chicken guy, etc.
Keep on plugging away.
Contact your RVP and ask him/her if you can role play. They should be able to give you a script that will work.
What's your tone? How are you asking? Do you sound like a telemarketer? Be sincere when you call. Let them know why you thought of them. Tell them you are in a contest this month and need their help. Ask them to try the product for two days. You just want their opinion and that' all. Make the initial contact short and sweet. Don't "vomit" @ on the first contact. Get the initial appointment. Tell them you just want 10 minutes of their time to drop something off.
But like I said, and hang in there, and reach up to your RVP!

I agree with the others...just keep plugging away. January can be a great month for our weight loss program and supposedly we are releasing some new products too :)
December is always hit and miss for me as far as sales so don't sweat it...start getting your game plan ready for the new year! You'll do great!

Don't get disheartened, just keep on with your calls or talking to people about your biz, it will pay off in the future.
I'm new to this business too (signed in Nov) and am of the opinion that the activity I do now may not always have immediate results but will be something that I can work on or follow up on in the New Year.
December has been much slower than Nov, my QV is only at 1/2 of what it was this time last month but I have made some great contacts this month to call back in January.
For example yesterday I called approx 15 health clubs in my local area. 3 gave me a definate no, a few said they may be interested in arband asked for information to be posted which I will do today and follow up in Jan. Another few I've to call back today as I didn't reach the owners yesterday but 2 said that they're interested and wouldlike to meet with me and arranged dates for Jan also 1 said YES there and then on the call however we are not getting together until Jan 9th because this month is so busy for her.
So you see, the calls yesterday didn't give me anything that will affect my biz in Dec but it will in Jan which is just as important.
Good luck, keep going you'll get there!
