Hi All. I am so excited I had my first contact for a fundraiser! Yipee!!! That is really something I see great potential in.I was wondering if any of you who do fundraisers are planning on changing either pricing or profit (for the group 5.50 instead of 6.00)per candle due to the cost increase. Which is minimal and I intend on keeping it the same for my customers. Does that make sense? I was also wondering if anyone could send me a fundraising sheet (the ones you get in the back office). Yes, FR can be quite lucrative for you and your organization. I am working on getting one lined up with the city's baseball/softball league that my son just joined. I plan on offering 5 per jar. If they sell them for 20 even (including the shipping) then you will profit about 4 per jar. Here are some key things i found out about FR so i thought i would pass it on to you.
1. In order for you to NOT charge the organization tax, YOU have to have your own tax id number, whcich you can get from your city office for under $20. Reason being that the organ. is buying from YOU and not scent-sations. THen you just get a exempt tax form and keep it for your records at tax time.
2. For your oder to be considered a FR so you dont have to complete a case, you must order at least 6 cases. Anything under that, you must complete the case (if you last order is for only 2 candles, you MUST order 10 more for example.)
Also, if you want, you can send your personal labels to corp while your FR is going on and they will label your jars for you, so when they ship, your contact info is on them already and they can mail all your candles to your organ. location.

Oh Jennifer, Thanks! I already have my tax ID, so that is good. I called corporate and they are closed so I called the number they gave to ask if the forms have a pic of the new jar candle and she didn't know.I just want to have something to be able to show this lady if she decides to go with MiaBella, I don't even know how she got my name. Advertising or a business card I assume. If you could send me a packet I would be so grateful. E mail me and I will give you my address.
I have been under a lot of stress lately, with a lot of things. And last night I prayed that God would bless me with more success in my business, which I work at constantly. I actually changed the organization's profit to $5.00 per candle, so the extra dollar cancover any shipping costs for me to get the candles or have them shipped to them. I was doing the $6.00, but then realized that there were other fees coming out of my profit that I don't want to charge the organization. So this way I cover all costs, without it taking all my profit.
