Has anyone thought of or tried to sell the ABC Baby line to OBGYN's? If I'm not mistaken you are allowed to sell to places where appointments are made right (ex: salons)? Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with that? TIA!

and not to state the obvious - check to see if the dr is already carrying a product. My daugher's pediatrician carries his own product (or whatever it is, who knows!) so he wasn't someone open to our line.But.....I have a few promising leads with 2 different chiropractors. Go figure. Go luck.

I had thought about doing a fish bowl drawing to generate leads where clients could fill out an information card, drop it in the bowl, then I would do a drawing for a free product once or twice a month.

Has anyone tried this? I've not done anykind of marketing to cold markets yet, but my DH is in sales and keeps telling me I need to be more creative!!!Edited by: Shana

Yes, this is a great approach if you can find places that allow you to put the fishbowl out. What I have heard is that you have a drawing for a free facial or spa evening for "you & 5 freinds". You get a fishbowl full of leads & of course, everyone is a winner, you just call & book the date for their spa or facial event!

how do you actually conduct the "facial" or "spa" party?

I have a friend who was introduced to Arbonne years ago and told me she had been invited to a friend's house for a facial party. When she got there, she said she was disappointed because everyone had to do their own and it wasn't a good evening after all. Obviously, the person doing the party wasn't licensed to touch people but how do you all promote the event enough to get people excited. Or....perhaps my friend's experience is unique?????

I too am very interested to know how people are conducting these. Are strangers willing to come to your home for their prize? I don't think my husband would want me to go off to strangers homes...or would I. This is the part I am having a hard time sorting out. I think it is an awesome idea though, and even know a massage therapist who I might be able to team up with.

I would give the "winner" a choice of my house or hers.

I was given a massage as a gift recently & went last week. The therapist is an Arbonne w/b but doesn't use the products for the actual massage because she saysthe oiltoo expensive to use in bulk. I'd think there would be a way for them to incorporate it into the session & have a display of products for sale, but I'm not a massage therapist.
