View Full Version : Motivating Wholesale Buyers

I have several wholesale buyers that have signed on to purchase the RE9 system at a discount. I am thrilled they are using this product, but there are so many other amazing products I know they would love and benefit from (the masques, color line, protein shakes, balancing creams, etc.).

How do you motivate wholesale buyers to look at more than just the RE9 line? I want them to take advantage of their $29 fee, and use all - or at least more - of Arbonne's wonderful products.

I was thinking about highlighting a different product each month, sending out some information about it, and maybe passing out samples in little paint pots. Just to let them know there is more to Arbonne than the RE9 line.

Any other suggestions? What has worked for you with wholesale buyers?

I send out a newsletter each month, via email. I tell them the PWP each month, and share a "commercial of the month"

THis month it was that my husband has had his hair grow back!

Last month it was about my daughter's eczema

I also highlighted the REmedy products, herbal vapor rub, etc, since it is cold and flu season. I make "package deals' Of my own, like buy two remedy products, get a free lip balm. stuff like that.

I also offer to combine on their orders with one of mineto save on shipping.Theystill get their discount, . I kept hearingfrom WBs that they didn't order until they had a few things they wanted because of the shipping cost.

I agree. I send a newsletter out each month. I highlight any Arbonne campaigns, PWP, any specials I may have, and a "product spotlight"of my choice. I also have 2 dates each month that I send in orders & I send an email reminder that I have an order going in. Generally, I offer free shipping on those because I just combine it with other orders going in. It typically generates more volume so I don't mind if I have to pick up $5-$10 in shipping occasionallyas I am ordering also & would have to pay my portion anyway. I know that is not for everyone but for me it's a small price to pay as I build my business.

I will call and highlight the specials that month. My upline also does a Wholesale day. We invite the wholesale consultants to come learn about something new.. This seems to really work. Like last month we did the prolief cream.. we told them if they could come (which we have a drawing for the product we are highlighting) then if they want info on the product we send it..

Thanks, everyone. I love your ideas! I do not have Publisher, or any software specifically for newsletters. What software do you use to produce your newsletters?

Cassandra, I searched the Bravenet site but did not find a newsletter template. Can you provide a direct link to it?

TIA!!!

Thanks, Cassandra. I found the newsletter, but I guess I am not sure how it works. Are you supposed to copy and paste the HTML to a website and then create the newsletter? I do not have a website so maybe I cannot use this?

I just type my newsletters in an email, and keep them simple. I want people to be able to read them. The only thing I vary is on section headings with color, font size, centering and Bolding.

We choose to receive our email in plain text because of someof the graphic porn photos that sneak in past our filters. Never fails, one of my kids will be looking over my shoulder and see it!

Also, the fancy ones take longer to load and some people can't see them. If I don't have the same font in my computer, things don't line up or whatever. I get annoyed by that personally, so I try to keep it simple.

I use Constant Contact (www.constantcontact.com (http://www.constantcontact.com)). You can sign up for a free 60 day trial to see if you like it. I have used it in previous business ventures & LOVE it!
