I have been with MWP for 3 months or so. I have read the letters that go out to the pre-enrollees and they look fine.

Lately some pre-enrollees have emailed me saying they got up to 8 emails saying "You made a check, so and so is on your team, you have a commission coming just by signing up". If you get 8 of these that means you get paid 8 commissions which is not true you only get 5 and that's 2.80. I believe those "Killer News" emails are deceptive because it makes the pre-enrollee think that when they sign up they are going to get all these commissions. How disappointing when they only get $2.80.

My downline actually emailed me about what one of her pre-enrollees said about wanting to use her "commissions" she got to pay for her sign up. When she found out the truth, she didn't sign up.

I think corporate is making these people feel they have this downline of 8 or even more if they sign up and I just feel guilty being part of that. I emailed a complaint to corporate and they just replied: (I quote)

The commission pay plan detailis easily accessible from the website tour.

The kinds of questions that your prospects are asking indicate to me that they do not understand the concept of network marketing or MLM marketing whatsoever.

The fact still is that you do earn a small commission even if you haven't sponsored anyone yet.

I don't think it is deceptive. They say you will earn a comission and you will. If you are an intelligent prospect, you would be sure to check the pay plan or to at least ask, "So how much comission will I earn?"

You know what I think it deceptive? When a company says, "Join now, matrix payplan, earn without sponsoring, receive lots of spillover!" And you never get a lot of spillover or anything! In fact, you don't get anyone!

MWP says you will get a ton of spillover -- and you will! And you can get paid on nearly all of it for relatively minimal personal sales/sponsoring!

There was a "candle company" online here about a year ago -- it was a complete fraud. Distributors were told they would earn $1 for every candle bought or sold in their downline. Distributors were told that their orders had shipped when they hadn't. One day distributors logged on to find out that this "company" had disappeared into thin air and the distributorswere left with losses. That is deceptive.

MWP has been established now for a year.

MWP does pay a comission when someone is placed on your team -- you earn on the first 5 people placed on your team regardless. No, it is not a large comission until you start personally sponsoring -- and the emails never say that it is a large comission.

MWP has paid every single week and month on time every time and has never, ever missed a beat.

MWP offers a product and an opportunity where a person can run a business for no actual out of pocket costs -- because the savings can more than offset any expenses required.

So that is just my opinion....I don't think it is deceptive advertising -- andI have never had the kinds of issues that your prospects are having.

I always write to people mailing me that if they are looking for a get rich quick program, then this is nor for you. You have to put some time into this program and atleast try to get 3 members enrolled. If you are not even gonna try then dont signup.....IF you dont signup just to use the discount card.People tend to forget that they also offer a awesome product and not just a commisionplan.

I am referring to the emails though that keep telling the pre-enrollees that if they sign up they are going to get commissions on all these that they email out about. That confuses the pre-enrolle into thinking "if I sign up now I will get commissions on these 8 (or however the number) of signups in my powerline. When in fact they will only get 5 (2.80). I think they need to stop those emails. I know this isn't a get rich thing and it's good that you tell them that. But those emails make some feel they struck gold or something. To me that's a bit deceptive advertising. That is what my point is about.

I agree. I kept getting those emails and that is what discouraged me from making the final leap.

That is why I cancelled my membership. I don't like deceiving people into thinking one thing and they pay money for it and don't get what they thought they would get. They also informed me they weren't going to change their way of doing that. I lost 2 signups and my former downline lost 1 signup and she was thinking of cancelling her membership too.

Gotta be honest with the folks. Plus I heard you can get the coupons online for free anyway. I didn't check out that one but someone told me that was what made her cancel.

It's all about the choice - I know I could have made it work. Really I could have but I just couldn't live with myself.

My former downline told me it happened to one of her pre-enrollees who asked if she could use her "commissions" money to sign up with because she didn't have the money upfront. She must have gotten like 8 such "Killer News - You've got a check" emails and thought she would have enough money signing up, (alas only 2.80) so when she found out, she didn't sign up. My former downline was bothered to by that strategy. It's just that you get like 8 or 9 of these and you think you made a lot of money so then you hurry up and sign up andpay $50 and $19.95 and getting 3 signups is hard - so in the meantime you get a measley $2.80 - that would be a great disappointment.

I hope you have success just the same. I signed up with My Power Mall and working with Giblink and Lawnchair Millionaire. I made $193 with Lawnchair Millionaire so far. My Power Mall does take a lot longer but it's free and I have 61 in my downline. I need to do more promoting on that one.

Take care and I wish you the best success.
