Hi all!

I thought I would give us a chance to discuss our favorite things--our
companies. My question is "What is the one product or product
line that makes your company stand out?" I ask because I'd like
to know personally. For instance, I just signed up for Lady
Emily, which is based 30 minutes from my house, but I didn't realize
that they had mineral makeup (like Bare Escentuals)--when I found out,
I pounced on it!



Let me know your unique items, your favorites, your topsellers, etc.

Hi Angie! I would say the one product that makes Mary Kay stand out is our TimeWise Miracle Set, which includes the TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser, Age Fighting Moisturizer and the Day and Night Solutions, which help to repair the skin. Also, our newest popular item would be the Microdermabrasion Set. This is fabulous and the results can be seen immediately after the first use!

Our Lotion Bars make us famous. They are a beeswax base and by far our most popular item. They are also the item that started the whole thing with CBBB.


They are only $7 and last for 3-6 months. :D

Our educational products and the fact that most of them don't take batteries! Our Think-It-Through Tile Set, Sounds Like Fun CD, Measure Up Cups, and Super Marbleworks are some of our awesome classics that are timeless and so worth the purchase.

Watkins is very well known for the Vanilla! Try it once, and you'll never use another brand~


I love the vanilla, but there are other products I think are really cool and very unique! With cold season upon us, the breathe easy drops are a life saver. Use a small drop on a bandana, shirt collar, sleeve, or whatever else you can find to put it on. It lasts all day and longer. Sniff it to clear sinuses.


It's also a wonderful calming agent (as it also has lavender in it)~ Great for adults, or kids that are upset or a bit hyper....works wonder!

My favorite BeautiControl product line is the Margarita party line, which includes foot creme, and a warming foot scrub, body lotion, and lip balm. I am totally hooked. This line smells so refreshing, I just love it!! The body lotion leaves my skin feeling like silk - AWESOME!!


My can't leave the house without product, would have to be our extra-help concealer. It is wonderful if you have dark circles under your eyes, and it feels so moisturizing. smileys/smiley1.gif

Yep, Country Bunny's lotion bar is very unique.

Our lip tubes are too in the sense that they are the best thing I've
ever used (and believe me, I've tried it all, Blistex, Chapstick, Satin

Hmm.. what makes us stand out - well our four unique product lines make us stand out. But it's weird - my favorite product line is our Creations line (all personalized keepsakes) however - my favorite product that we carry is actually two products found in our World of Cooking line - and it's actually because of WHAT they can make (recipe wise) LOL


I think we are most known for our Christmas decor and our cooking items however. Hope that helps!

As for my personal favorite, I love the dream pig because it's a fun kit, it turns out so cute, and I think it offers families a great opportunity to talk, plan, and DREAM together.

I would say the 'signature' line of Pampered Chef is definately the stoneware!!! Once you have one piece, you HAVE to get more!!


All of our products are wonderful, but the stoneware is a MUST! I usually suggest one of our round stones to start with. They can be used for everything your normal metal cookie sheet is used for! Pizzas,biscuits, french fries, garlic breads, rolls...almost anything frozen or refrigerated!

Well, this time of year, my favorite AtHome America line is the Bistro Buffet Collection. It's a beautiful collection of serving pieces. It was one of my favorite collections when I first saw the catalog. Then, I earned it all free through our FasTrack program when I started my business. Last year I hosted Christmas dinner at my home for the very first time. I just have to brag a bit and say that everything looked absolutely perfect when set out in that beautiful collection. I was so proud! Not only did it look great, but I had the pride in knowing that I earned it. It was a great feeling. I wouldn't let anyone eat until I took pictures. smileys/smiley36.gif Ok, Ok, Ok, it WAS my first major holiday meal and it was such a big deal to me. My mom always had the best holiday dinners, and I preparing for this made me feel so much like my mom. The memories were amazing. It truly was a magical Christmas last year!


And that's what I love. Whether we realize it or not, the things...the stuff we have around us every day impact us in ways we don't even realize. Believe it or not, all that stuff, is working in the lives of everyone we see in creating tradition without even trying.

Gosh hard for me to pick one thing when so many of the products have helped me with health problems I have had.. Like our Get Well vitamins.. ahh love those, they have helped me stay healthy and just found out from my doctor that they are great when your pregs.


But with out our skin care I would look like a allergator.. not kidding. I have such dry flaky skin.. I have loved the Normal to Dry for 15 yrs (yes tried other things in between) and now I love our NutriMinC which is Patent pending. This is the most popular line right now because most people can use it because it is self adjusting and does what it says.. that is why we get the patent pending thing.


But the Sea Salts have helped with the dry skin bumps I get on my arms.. I just found this one. I have had these bumps since I was a kid and hated my arms.. gone my husband can't believe it.


I have really bad excema on my feetand even tried stuff the doctor gave me.. nothing till my Herbal foot care.. LOVE IT. and the Prolief.. ahhh great for cramps, mood swings, menapause, getting pregs.. and so much more..


Ok I could go on and on.. So I will stop. Plus everything last so long.. I have had my skin care set since Feb.. just starting to get low.

Ok Seeing how I am in the Adult novelty line. With over 1,000 items. LOL I would say everything. But seriously the thing that stood out for me was educating women and couples about their bodies, and keeping the romance alive.


This has brought my husband and I so much closer! I feel so more connected to him as I learn how different things trigger different senses. I do my home work on educating women about their desires. I have women confide in me and that makes it special to me. We do have some great massage items that can really bring romance into the bedroom along with some romantic items, like games and rose petals with candles. I just love what I do!


I have to agree with the Arbonne consultant. I have a wholesale account with Arbonne to get my products at a discount only, I can't believe how great my skin feels. I used to use another company, and it just dont compare. I just hit 30 last month and decided it was time to take care of my face. My makeup goes on so much better too. It's great.


But my romance company is my first love for many reasons. Top reason is what it has done for my marriage!

Unique Items: Probably the Monkey Farts scent is what grabs most people's attention! I love our Little Lilies line of kids products though, as well as our Bath Pouf Soap (a loofah with a bar of our glycerin soap inside) EDIT: I forgot about our Fragrant Friends! Those are so adorable and people love them!


My favorites: My current favorite scents are Home, Clove, Tinsel, and Peppermint. I have a 16 oz rectangle jar in Peppermint that is just gorgeous (can't bring myself to burn it yet!) I love the Little Lilie's Boo Boo Butter, and I love our Lipsations.


Best Sellers: Most of my customers have to at least try out the Monkey Farts scent, so I sell a lot of those. Our natural soap bars are pretty popular too, as are the Body Balms/Body Butters/Body Creams.Edited by: whitelily

Can you tell me what Monkey Farts are supposed to smell like? LOL Where did they come up with that name? I dont like the word fart, I hate it when my kids say it.

Monkey Farts Top notes of fresh bananas and juicy grapefruit, middle notes of kiwi, juicy bubblegum, and strawberries; and a hint of vanilla as a base note.


It is actually a really yummy scent! (Of course, it should be - if that is our attention-grabber scent, it better be good!)


It isn't overpowering, it is just a nice, summery/tropical type fragrance.

For Northern Lights at Home it's got to be our Garden of Light Bowl in the Fresh Fig Tree Scent. It's our best seller, but I also find people know of for the Hint of Him Scent in our Lame' (LAH MAY not lame) Bowls. Plus everyone I've run into just loves that our candles burn so long and our prices are so reasonable.

I love Noah's Ark Workshop, because no matter where I set up people are like that is so cool an unique. I love the convenience we provide to groups with us coming to them instead of them coming to us. My favorite product would be the Dill Bear. He retails for $13 which is very inexpensive, but than I knock him down to $10 for groups and that makes it affordable for everyone. I love that our companies products don't have an age barrier.

Hands down: Our Hand-Turned Pottery is my favorite. I fell in love with HGP products because of our gallery wrapped framed art but I soon fell in love with the pottery after I cooked in my very first Bean Pot. I was always a crock pot user and never thought I'd slow cook in anything else but after cooking my first roast in my Bean Pot, I was won over. Iused tocook my roasts or chicken in my crock pot all night longbut now,we can come home from church,I can throw everything in the Bean Pot, put it on 350º and set my timer for approx. 2 hours. Ding! We're eating by 2pm! Gotta love thatsmileys/smiley2.gif

I've been racking my brain on this one...... for my company, it's not really the product, but the unique way to shop and learn about the product. Does that make any sense?


I mean, sure, you can go to the liquor store, grocery store, wine shop, etc., and buy products that are just like ours (wine), but you can't walk in at your leisure, with a few friends, and have a wine tasting on the spot. And, even if you are lucky enough to find a retail location that offers a wine tasting, not only is it on their schedule, but you have to pay for it! We're the only company I know of that offers an in-home wine tasting, for no cost, and provides all kinds of education and assistance that others in the industry charge a fortune for.

I'm with the Bittersweet Candle Company and I've been trying to figure out what makes our company more unique than others. Like Mellonie - you can buy our products in a variety of places. Retail stores, discount outlets and even other direct sales companies. Although I feel that once you try one of our candles and smell the scents and how long they last, you'll see why our candles are right at the top. We have a great variety of scents and sizes but overall I feel our company is unique because of it's overall set up. We make a great 40% commission, have online ordering and drop shipping but overall we have a professional look. Professional catalogs and a professional website (which btw we get for free). I think the uniqueness of our overall appearance is different in the candle world.

One of my favorite and unique things that The Traveling Vineyard offers is the Passport Wine of the Month Club!! I love that is now offered in 3,6,9 and 12 months so it makes a great gift for someone.

Some of the stories that go along with the wines are so interesting! We have one wine that is from Italy. The vineyard is owned by two brothers that have a Italian mother that use to love to travel. Well she has gotten older now and cannot travel anymore. The 2 brothers decide to name one of their Pinot Grigios after herinhonor of her travels. Now her name travels with the wine! I love Gail Pittman's work. I have a set of the Sienna dinner plates from SLAH as well as other pieces to go with it. I love their items!


With my company - I would say one of our unique items are the wickless candles. They are also one of our #1 sellers. They are great for anyone who doesn't want to have an open flame burning. You can purchase a candle warmer and put the wickless jar candle on the warmer. The scent fills the room but no flame. Great for classrooms and offices!

My favorite line that Fantasy, Inc offers and what actually made me choose it for my biz is the fact that we offer all sizes of lingerie!
