Great way to start out my day!

I got a call from someone looking for the Tangiball for an autistic child she needs by Thanksgiving.

She said she could stop by to pick it up. She came in with her husband, and 2 girls.

I pulled out all my inventory, and let them shop. I had my toys out for the girls and my son to play. I kept making suggestions and showing her what I love. They were sitting in my dining room with the toys all over the front hall!

She bought $150!

She said to me how this is so much better then a store, and she would rather go to someone's house and shop then deal with the Flourescent lights! Such a reminder to us all! Her husband also loved the toys and was asking about the biz!

Yeah!! Great job! Gotta love those "surprise" sales!

Hmm, I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to let someone in my house...I never know what it'll look like!!smileys/smiley5.gif

I know that feeling! 2 days ago I got a call from a school librarian that I had been working with- told me she needed some birthday and Christmas gifts- so I said come on over!

I had her tell me the ages/gender ahead of time- so I pulled some books that I thought she would love- and 8-10 books later- she was thanking me as she walked out the door. smileys/smiley17.gif

Gotta LOVE this business!!!!!!!!!!

I am the same way even when I do festivals and craft shows. I love it because everyone elses table you hear the parents say now don't touch anything and when they get to me and their eyes light up I say you touch whatever you like at my table. lol.
