Hi all! I've been using Arbonne products for about a year now and became a wholesaler for personal use a few months ago. I was with some family members today and skin care came up. Of course, I couldn't say enough good things about all the Arbonne products I've been using. Well, just about everyone wants to try out and start using Arbonne products now. There was so much interest that I told them I had talked to my upline about her doing a little party at my house so that I could continue to learn more about Arbonne. Well, my one sister said SHE wants to host the party at her house and she would feel more comfortable if I did the show. Well, I really didn't intend to do the business aspect of Arbonne, but now I don't really think I can say no to my sister. I'm in direct sales so I don't have a problem with giving a presentation, but I don't feel like I know Arbonne well enough yet. So please, tell me, where do I start?

You can log into Arbonne University and "study" the "7 Steps to a Successful Arbonne Presentation" training, so you can get up to speed or familiar with how a presentation is conducted.

However, share with your sister that your upline is there to help train & support you in your Arbonne business. Perhaps your upline can come with you to help "fill in the blanks" to ensure your presentation goes along comfortably for you. There are many uplineswho conduct a new consultants presentations so a consultant "earn while they learn".

This business is about teamwork & having fun! Guests at a party want to see that it's easy & someone will be happy to help me get started too.

You upline would love to hear from you &happy to assist you in whatever you need!

I did my first party by myself after only seeing one 6 months earlier at my own house when I hosted one for a friend and signed up for the discount, with no intention of selling. Well, another friend was interested in the business and my sponsor is in another state and couldn'lt do a party here as she was 8 months pregnant. So I just took her outline and filled in the blanks and printed them on index cards and referred to them as I spoke. THe one time I deviated from the script was when I shared my personal story about how the products helped me.

Don't worry about having all the facts, etc, it can be overwhelming to people anyway. Go through the first page of the catalog where it talks about the Arbonne difference.I have people turn to that page and have each one read out one fo the facts and ask if they know or can guess why Arbonne is proud of these differences or something like that. Then I explain why it is important. I now just use my catalog and just have additional facts jotted right in there,:

like next to ph correct, I have "Our skin=5.5, water =7, strips acid mantle"

next to animal by prodcuts I have "no gelatin, beeswax or lanolin, certified Vegan-on Peta's highest honor list for friend of animals"

Dermatologist TESTED is different than 'recommended' ours are actually tested by derms.

Hypoallergenic--Voluntary human testing-I have " RIPT-0"

meaning repeat insult patch test is a score of ZERO, the standard is 3 out of 100 and under can be called hypoallergenic, but Arbonne uses a standard of 0

USP vitamins, I have "dissolve in 30 minutes, COLD pressed" Thispreserves integrity and effectiveness of ingredients

then I go to the skin type chart and show how ARbonne has something for everyone, baby's to anti aging, as well as hair, aromatherabpy and supplements.

I talk more on the Prolief, because that is how I got into it, it has helped me a ton! And also the baby line which has saved my daughte'r skin.

stuff like that, simple notes to help me keep my facts straight.

People don't want a skin care class to be like a science class, keep it quick and fun, and always let them know if they have specific questions or want more info, you can get it for them. This also helps set up potential one on ones wehre you can meet their individual needs and sell more stuff. Even if you don't have the intention of doing the business, doing a class occasionally brings in some extra pocket money. Invest $14.00 in 20 catalogs, and re-use them, unless people really want to take them. Order them when you are ordering stuff anyway, to save on shipping.

Good luck, have fun, and remember, selling Arbonne is not about being perfect, it is about being genuine and sharing your experience.
