What is the benefit of giving someone a wholesale account? What do we get out of it? Do we still make 35% of what they buy? or is it only 4%? If only 4, then why would we want to offer it?

thanks!

You get the 4% as a Consultant. But once you move up, you get the 8% as District Manager. It count's towards your GV. You never know who will turn into a Business Builder. There are tons of EOA stories that people just signed on as a Wholesale Buyer but say the potential and started "doing" Arbonne instead of "playing" Arbonne.Edited by: ZachMadsMom

The nice thing about having people sign up as wholesale buyers is that they will more then likely purchase more often then they would have otherwise. I have several wholesale buyers that have become Arbonne households and place a minimum $100 each month. Once they started using the product they loved them and wanted to try more and knowing they automatically get that 35% discount is big benefit!! I have a couple of people signed under me who had used the products before but were never offered the 'wholesale' option until I came along. And one of my business builders only signed up to get products at a discount and within a week called and wanted to know what she needed to do to get a business started!!!

Lori, that is how I feel about it too. People are more likely to buy more and more often if they are purchasing at a discount.

I have one client who signed up as a wholesale buyer and she buys about $300 every month! smileys/smiley3.gif... and she is a consultant with another nutrition/skin care company! LOL I think she fell in love with Arbonne. smileys/smiley2.gif

The 35% discount is the best offer I can give my wholesale clients, and the convenience of being able to order fromtheir own home, and have delivered straight to their own door is very appealing to many people. Personally, I couldn't imagine handling re-orders for all my clients and future clients- I plan to have many!

You can do this business different ways- for Retail profit or residual income. You have to be able to see the bigger picture to comtemplate the residual income part of this industry. To concentrate on retailing (ordering for and delivering) to clients takes time and energy and doesn't have the 'limitless income potential' that building a network of wholesale buyers and business builders gives you, as there are only so many hours in a day. If you showyour clients how they can order products themselves with their own wholesale account at a 35% discount, your volume grows from the orders and your clients are happy because they save 35%.Edited by: cassandra

You only get 4% ~ but remember you don't get 4% on the RV you get it on 65% of the RV. However, like the other ladies said, you earn more as you move up the latter. The way I look at it, if they have a discount, they are more likely to buy more often and again down the road. If they don't have a discount, they may buy just that one time to "help you out" ~ earning 4% again and again and again adds up to more than earning 35% once. Then as someone else mentioned, they may end up wanting to be a consultant instead of just a wholesale buyer....you never know.
