Hello All,
I just came across this section of the WAHM site and am interested in more information in regards to GCC. I have gone to directly to the website and would like to know if someone would be so kind as to answer some questions.
I am completely new to MLM so please bear with me....
1. How exactly does one make money from selling the cakes?
2. Is it a commission based process and if so what is the amount of
commisssion?
3. What is the average amount that one could potentially make a month?
4. What strategies are others currently using to promote the cakes?
Thank you for any and all help! smileys/smiley2.gif

Hi, Karima. I'm just going back to The Greeting Cake company after being away forover a year, so please forgive me if I don't have all the info.
You sell the cakes for the suggested price of $6.00 each. I believe distributor cost is $3.75. If someone orders from your website, the company takes care of it all, and you will receive a commission check for the difference. If you are selling in person, I believe you can just order the cakes at 3.75 and pocket the difference right there.
I plan on having a company website, and promoting that. I'm not really too knowledgeable about Internet marketing, but I would get a sponsorship on some of the message board websites I most oftenvisit. I'm also a Cub Scout Leader, and will invite all the Scout parents to a big Cake bash to introduce my new business, as well as my friends and family. In the spring, there are also a lot of street fairs around here, I'drent a booth and sell at those. Itwould requiremy buying inventory beforehand and hopefully selling out... but I've never seen cakes around here so chances are pretty good of success. I think having the cakes at my table would be much better than just trying to sellout of a catalog.
