I just had to share with everyone about the woman I met last night. I held a spa for a friend of mine that really wants to join but just does not have the money. I told her that I would give her all the sales and she agreed to give me the bookings and / or recruits if we had any. I knew going into it that we wouldn't, but really I didn't mind. I just wanted to help out this friend that really needs the support and friendships she can have with BC. Before the spa, I agreed to come 2 hours early to do a makeover on one of her friends from school. The woman's name is Kathy, and sheis just as sweet as sweet can be. She has acne issues on her face and has been using Proactive for a while. She said it works (although it didn't appear to be working very well. I am not sure if she had much worse skin before or maybe wants it to work so much that she thinks it is working. Not that I am trying to be mean, but you can tell when a product is making a difference on someone's skin, and I have seen what All Clear does for my clients' faces). She has low self esteem and doesn't ever put on make up. The proactive is drying out her skin, and she just wanted something different. Once I got everything out and ready to go, she did her facial at the sink. We did the All Clear line and I gave her face and neck lotion, eye cream, and cell block c also. Then she used the wet/dry, nice makeup collection, and some eyeliner and mascara. She loved it, and she looked so different! She was positively glowing as we all oohed and aahed over her new look and she looked so happy to look at her reflection. She didn't say much and left only with a wet/dry, but it just felt so good to be able to elicit such a response with just the products in my magic black spa bag. I've had a rough and stressful week (started with a spa cancellation and my fiance's mother wrecking his car. And that was only Sunday before 5pm!) and it really turned my attitude around to see the look on Kathy's face when she had tried BC's amazing life changing products. This company is so awesome, and I can't believe I get to be a part of it. :) Yay, BeautiControl!

Its greating knowing that you put a smile on someone's face! I'm sure that moment will touch her heart for a long time.

Isn't this why we joined BeautiControl?? We all could make money doing any number of things, but to be able to encourage and bless another woman is what it is all about. Thanks for sharing this great story.

I have converted 2 pro-active users and one said I cannot ever stop being her BC rep. LOL
By the way, my sister who recruited me said she seen Pro-Active in a vending machine in the Dallas airport. Now what does that tell ya about a product?! I said "oh....junk food for the face"! I mean what else comes out of a vending machine?

I hope Im not bothering anybody just jumping in here, but from time to time, I like to browse the boards and this story was AWESOME to read! I used proactive for a month and will NEVER EVER EVER, I mean NEVER use it again! It made my skin SO dry, that I actually got a rash from the dryness. My ENTIRE chin and neck was just a huge rash! It itched, which made it worse! I actually CAN believe its in a vending machine! Thats how much it DOESNT work!

Sorry to hear your horror story with Proactive. I have several friends who have used it in the past but didn't have any success with it either. They tried our All Clear Acne Line and love it. I'm not sure if you have ever tried any of our products but that may be something you may want to consider.
