Last night, I drove 30 miles for a party. Unfortunately, many of those who wanted to come had sick kids, so it was a small turn out! But the hostess had her 12 year old there, so I pulled out a few of the games for older kids and set up one of our fun board games on the table. Every guest there bought it! And he was looking through the toys and had his own wish list for his mom! She thought she was just shopping for her 4 year old (who is autistic).


Sometimes I really like the smaller turn out parties. She was able to interact more with her son and the toys and see what caught his attention.


It just cracked me up with this 12 year old. He kept showing toys to his mom and saying "I would rather have this then that DVD or video game I was asking for!"


Anyway, I felt like I really did my job in helping to cut back on his X-Box time. That made it all worth it.


Also, one of the guests who is a previous hostess is really considering selling, and I know she was even more excited after leaving the party.

Awesome! I'm glad you had a great time and feel really fulfilled from that show.

That's great Deb!! That smaller turn-out party will probably generate you more business and commission pay than a larger show would have.

Deb- That is exactly the type of party that everyone hopes for!! Where someone besides you gives a testomonial or gets very enthusiastic about the products!! Oh yeah and then the part where everyone buys isa bonus also smileys/smiley4.gif!!!
