Working from home can be lonely. I love being able to talk to my coworkers on WAHM! And I'm excited to be moving away from telecommuting and into starting my own business, and being able to share it with the awesome people here.

I used to have a lot of trouble figuring out what to eat, how much I needed to buy for a week or two of meals, how much to budget for it, how to stop impulse purchases, when to go to the grocery store... not to mention fighting the crowds and making time to drive to as many as three or four different places to get the best prices on different items!
I discovered that planning my meals in advance each week took time but saved me a TON of money. Plus, it gave me the opportunity to choose healthier foods and to cook the food I would need ahead of time - no more staring into the fridge in vain for something fast to make after my blood sugar had already crashed!
I have a blog where I talk about meal planning (http://candyrecapper.com/blog) and I'm working on a meal planner that someday I hope to have published. But I also know that there are lots of people who don't have the time to do all the painstaking planning, math, and grocery store trips that make it really worthwhile. So I'm offering my services!
It's $40 a week for individuals, but the more people who are involved, the cheaper it gets. A family of four can do it for as low as $120 a week if you are ordering several weeks at once. In exchange, you receive a box every week stuffed full of healthy mostly-organic food, simple and delicious recipes, and a suggested meal plan that shows when to cook each dish for the least possible amount of effort and time spent! (For example, this week all the dinner and lunch dishes can be completed at about the same time, in an hour or so of roasting, simmering, and blending, and stored for later while the flavors meld.)
It could be a good present for friends and family, whether you want to send them one week or several - or a nice way to kick-start your New Year's resolution to eat healthier! I think it makes a great gift for new parents, too. And your box is personalized a little each week to make sure it contains nothing you (or anyone else in your family) is allergic to and nothing that you just plain don't like to eat! Besides being mainly organic, the dishes include lots of vegetables and are very low on things like sugar and saturated fat. And each one has a special surprise treat thrown in!
You can find more information at our website (http://candyrecapper.com/blog/box.html), and please send me any questions or suggestions you have; I'm always looking for feedback, especially from other work-at-home moms.
Thanks for reading :-D
