Hi everyone!!

i was wondering if anyone knows the differences between being a consultant for beauticontrol and partylite. I recently had an amazing hostess (she sold over $300 worth of stuff to outside people!!) and she used to sell partylite and is thinking about getting back into it. i was talking to her about the perks of beauticontrol without trying to be too pushy and she said well maybe i should do this and laughed. i would love to know more about partylite so i could sell her on beauticontrol easier. any suggestions or info would be great.

thanks!!

I used to sell PartyLite and then left to become a spa girl. With PartyLite, they can earn the starter kit at no cost. I looked at going back last year, but didn't want to commit to doing more home parties. They do not have a 24/7 shopping website, but hear one is in the works. PartyLite consultants do not make their money the night of the party. They send in their orders and get a 25% commission check mailed to them. Consultants receive a bonus if they sell over $1,800 a month. When I was with the company, I found it easy to recruit. A lot of them would join just for the starter kit and then disappear. Kit nappers is what I used to call them. My information maybe a little old because it has been a while since I was a consultant.

I found another company that is more flexible to satisfy my client's needs for candles.

it is hard to compare because they are different types of companiies with different types of products...they do work well together though...she could do both, spas and have the candles set out to enhance the relaxation...

Sharada,

The closest person I have on the team in TX is in the Houston area. DCC is still a very new consultant program with only 121 consultants. I can check to see if there is someone closer to you. I am a regional team leader for TX.

Does anyone know what the minimum amount to order, to stay active in Partylite?I think that might make a difference in your friend's decision.

I know a PartyLite consultant who says they have relaxed the $500 retaila month quota, but she is still pushing it. Another reason why I didn't go back.
