Does anyone know why the Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper votives are a pinky/orange color and the jar candle is red?Are there other scents where the jars & votives don't match?
I don't have a full set yet so I can't see for myself. I'd like to be able to tell my customers ahead of timeso there's no surprise if they're expecting one color & get another. Thanks for any responses!

You might just have an "off" batch. my jars and votives both match for that scent. Sometimes I think it is just a result of them being hand made - I've had Island Mango votives come to me in both light and dark oranges.smileys/smiley1.gif

I have sometimes gotten votives in the same dozen that seem to be just a little off. Not alot and you wouldnt' know unless side by side. :)

I just got a new order in last week and I think those were darker than the ones I got before. Sometimes they fade justa bit too.

Thanks for the responses. I guess this just adds to the "character" of our candles? smileys/smiley2.gif I didn't even think about it until I was reviewing the scent list today & saw the color listed as red & thought, "Wait a minute! My jar was red but every votive in the box was a light pinky orange color, even on the bottoms." Perhaps they were specially sun ripened since it was my very 1st COTM? smileys/smiley36.gif Who knows. We love em either way. It's DH's favorite scent so far.
