A friend of mine will be holding another Home based party and asked if I would like to set up something simple like ER with a sign and fliers in her bathroom for guests to use. She isn't one for a spa party but thought this might generate something.
SO my question is what would you all put in the bathroom? And what would you give the friend for letting you do this? I tried talking her into doing foot sauna's while everyone is sitting down and eating but her family is very sensitive to smells and such.
I know you all have great ideas and right now anything would help.

Depending on what your friend will let you get away with, I would take it just a bit further and have the SOH and ER lotion both set out. One of my consultants had a similar situation. She had been trying to get a co-worker to host a spa for the last year. This co-worker decided to host a designer purse party and my consultant asked her if she could bring a product or two to put in the restroom. Co-worker said sure. So consultant actually discreetly pulled guests, one-by-one, back to try some of her products.
These guests were spending 200-300 dollars on purses! She was determined to book a few spas with these guests. She mentioned that she did complimentary in home spas where she pampers the hostess and guests from head to toe. She got two bookings and these should be great spas $$$.
If you are not comfortable pulling people aside and talking with them, at least post instructions for the product usage, and I would even put a basket in the bathroom with the hostess gifts and a list of benefits for scheduling a spa.
As far as your friend? Maybe give her one the ER hand lotions as a thank you gift.

Kari thank you for the info. I got some creative flyers from my recruiter that I will use. An I love the basket idea. I was also thinking for putting the SOH's with the ER. I'm not the type to pull people aside unless I really know them.
Thanks again for the great ideas.

It'd be great if you could actually set up the SOH and ER to demo yourself. This will give you a chance to personally talk with some people, and let them know what you all do. I always give them a back massage while doing the SOH, and a warm neckwrap would be great too if you have a microwave handy. You could even offer the lip appeal while shopping!! Sample lotions are always nice to have around too.
Good luck!!
