Hi There~

Has anyone tried the Corticure Comfort Lotion? I have had contact dermatitis from detergents and soaps on one of my fingers (sort of like an excema), and I was wondering if this product would help cure it, or at least be a relief. I hate to use a steroid cream or anything along those lines without first trying something more mild. Besides, the one time I was prescribed a steriod creme for this condition, itmade my skin even more sensitive.Any kind of lotion or creme with perfume just irritates it more. It's really frustrating because so many things I have tried have just masked the problem, and it always seems to come back. So, I am always looking for newsuggestions.

Does anyone else suffer from any kind of skin condition similar to this? If so, I would appreciate any advice.

Also, has anyone heard if BC will be coming up with a new dietary supplement line? Isaw on beautinetthat it is on the "while supplies last" list. I have had a few people interested in the line, but I hate to get them started on it if the supplements aren't going to be available for much longer. smileys/smiley5.gif

Anyway, talk to you all soon!

I haven't heard about the supplements being reformulated. I will ask my Director, she usually knows these things. Will get back to you on that one; if she knows!

My Daughter has eczema really bad! I have recently introduced her to Corticure and it seems to be working. The key we found with her is to keep changing lotions so she doesn't build a resistance to it. It is awful because hydrocortisone was ineffective for a long time!Same with the steroid creams. Last winter was especially bad for eczema. She may out gow it, but there are no guarantees. We are not even sure what the trigger is.

I love Corticure! It replaced Summer Comfort as the after sun lotion. It does have a light scent to it, so you may want to look at the ingredient list before you buy it.

Have you tried Aquafor? It is made byEucerin and isan over the counter lotion. We have found that it is a good lotion.

Hope that helps!

Vicki~

Thank you so much for the info.! I will definately look into Corticure, and Aquafor too. I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I just have it on my finger and in the past on my hands, I can't imagine how miserable it is for her. I will have her in my prayers. Hopefully, she will grow out of it.

Have you ever tried Watkins Red Clover Salve on your daughter? I was actually introduced to it on this message board, and it has been a huge relief. It did not cure my condition, however, itis awesome for stopping the itch and dryness.I am pretty sure it is all-naturalandworks well for other skin irritations as well.

Thanks again,

Lisa,

Julia has eczema on her elbows, hands, wrists, upper legs and the backs of her knees. She is our precious little one from China. It is common for them to have eczema. Her condition worsens in the fall and winter. We thought it would get better in the colder weather, but it seems to aggravate it more.

I will look into Watkins Red Clover Salve. Thanks! She is also sensitive to perfumes in products.Try using Dove soap to wash your hands. We use this in the bath for Julia and it does help. They have a sensitive skin formula as well.

The key is to keep your skin hydrated thru out the day!

Hey Girls-

Corticure CURES everything for me. Eczema, Poison Ivy, Sun Burns, and Cold Soars that I get under my nose in the Winter smileys/smiley11.gif. When my husband and kids are blowing their noses a lot, they get really raw...I put Corticure on them and they are all healed up the next day. It works REALLY fast. I call it my miracle lotion!smileys/smiley4.gif
