Can anyone tell me if this is the same ingredient as Urea? I
really would like to know because you see this ingredient (diazolidinyl
urea) in many items. I have seen the ingredient in my products,
your products and others too. I am concerned that it might be
misconstrued as being the same thing as Urea or worse yet, maybe it
is. Can anyone clarify this for me? I know that many
Arbonne consultants are really up on ingredients and what some of the
chemical names stand for so that is why I posted the question here.

Thanks ladies.

here is Arbonne's product knowledge sheet on it.

It is a preservative and is synthetic, not from animal urine sources. It inhibits growth of mold, etc in water based items.

They use less than .5% as in accordance with the CIR guidelines.

Oh thanks that's good to know. I was a bit concerned after
reading the other post (animal-by- products list) Thanks for the
quick response, I appreciate your help!

See other posts at the bottom of the "animal by products" topic.

Tried to retrieve the same info arbonnebabies showed -- can't find it anywhere. Retrieved info from suggested source -- not there.
