This is from the @rbonne site:
@rbonne strictly prohibits any advertising or other information or content on the Internet, except on Web sites that are part of the Myrbonne.com (My@rbonne.com) program, independentWeb sites that have been approved by rbonne, or as part of online banner or display ads that conform to rbonne’s advertising guidelines and have been approved by rbonne. Online banners or display ads must be submitted to rbonne for approval prior to posting online.Online banners or display ads must link a user to a Myrbonne.com (http://www.myarbonne.com/) Web site or an independentWeb site that has been approved by rbonne. Advertising or information included in Internet Classified ads or I-malls of any type are prohibited,as well as advertising on bulletin boards,e-mail or list servers and the like. You may fax your request for approval to Att:Compliance Dept.at 949.855.3077 or submit your request via our online contract form.

You can see the full policy at: https://www.arbonne.com/ic/pandp.asp (https://www.arbonne.com/ic/pandp.asp)

Hope this helped.

I find many of the policies wishy-washy.
Section 4.11 says e-mail must comply with the CAN SPAM Act and then two sections later in 4.13 it says it is strictly prohibited.
So is it allowable or isn't it? I wrote to the compliance department over a month ago to ask for clarification and still have not heard back....http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

Also read the section on linking and redirecting URLs:
4.8. Linking
Any Web site, e-mail or other references that link to your Independent Consultant Web site must be pre-approved in writing by @. You may not link from or to another business, hobby or non-@ product or opportunity because that would violate the Conflict of Interest policy. In addition to obtaining @'s written approval, you must obtain written approval from the Web site owner prior to linking to another company's Web site. In no event shall a link to your Web site create a browser or frame around your Web site. You agree to keep all links up to date. If you terminate your Web site, you must remove any links that previously existed to your Web site.

4.9. Redirecting URLs
Independent Consultants shall only use the URL assigned to their My@.com Web site to directWeb traffic to that site. Consultants shall not use any other domain name or URL and redirectWeb traffic to their My@.com Web site from such other URL.

I know I didn't completely read the policies and procedures and did many of the things that aren't allowed and was called on it by @.
I see consultants doing many of the things that we aren't supposed to do and I'll bet they aren't even aware that they are not in compliance with the P&P's.

Honestly, the best way to find out something, is to contact complance. And make sure you get a name and ID # of whoever answered your questions :)

It is my understanding that you can have a lead generating page as long as it is generic & does not use the company name, logo, or product names, etc. and does not link to any@ sites including the my@ site.It is simply lead generation.

For example you can have a skin survey, color survey, opportunity survey with questions geared to provide you with the answers/info you are looking for to see if you have a good fit/match as long as it does not include any of the material listed above.

Personally I find this to be a belly to belly business as Rita says but there are folks like Cindi who are building their business through a lot of online activity. Even so, it takes relationship building as she has mentioned before.

If you have not heard back from compliance try to call them.
