Why should someone use a MLM company verses buying from
Walmart, etc?

Buying from Walmart is just that, buying from them. If you join a MLM you have the option of earning commission from what you recommend to others or even earning a great residual income if you build a business. Also, it depends on the product, but in my opinion, Arbonne's products are superior and if you find something that works, why would you not want to use it?

Why does buying from a MLM turn some people off?

What are they scared of?

I think we need to be careful in how we approach people, because some of the bad reputation has come through pushy reps for other MLM companies. Also though, because network marketed products are dist. by word of mouth, some manufacturers don't pay very much attention to the quality, and just count ontheir repsto basically lie for them in order to earn a commission (this has been my experience anyway). This is where Arbonne is very different!

Wow - why put the profit into their already rich hands?????
Also - there are NO products at Wal Mart that come close to what we offer.
(oh and with 35-80% off as a wholseale consumer, the price is incredible)

I've heard that to offer the re9 line in dept stores, spend $$$ for advertising, etc., the cost would be out of sight! I love that we can put that money into product research. I really believe that our product is outstanding. I also like that I can build a business sharing with others the product & teach them how to earn money!

I think that MLM companies get a bad rap because people confuse them with "pyramid schemes" I know I've been in a couple of situations where when I tell people what I do they so "oh so it's like one of those pyramid things"....it's very irritating but they say it so innocently that I don't these they realize what the difference is...

Yes, sad but true. SO many people are SO un-educated!
A "pyramid" does not have a product involved - dah! Those willing to do their research and get educated are the ones who will be laughing all the way to the bank. ( while the others punch a time clock making someone else rich) smileys/smiley36.gif

Everytime you go to a movie or resturant and tell a friend about your wonderful movie or meal do you get paid by the movie theatre or resturant if your friend see's the movie or eats their food? Of course not, Arbonne pay's you for doing just that. Hmmmmmmm

Network Marketing and MLM are the same. Where did the term
"network marketing" come from?

I understand people are often afraid of these terms. What
terms does Arbonne prefer and why?

I thought according to The 45 Second Presentation we
were "not" in the selling business, but the sharing. I
think he says that the word selling tends to drive people
away.

Selling or sharing; it all boils down to the same result. It is
just a play on words. We offer, they take, they give us $$,
and we take their $$$.

somebody give me an example of one? I know they are
illegal, etc.

Yes, when you come down to it most things in life are about selling. Anytime you give an opinion of something you are "selling" that opinion. Anytime you meet someone & want to make a good impression you are "selling" yourself basically. When we recommend anything we are "selling". You can pretty much relate it to everything in life. Bottom line, in Arbonne product must be moving...which it does whether you are "selling" or "sharing".

We have a link to DSA on our Internet consultant site which talks about what a Pyramid is or isn't. You can go to DSA & do a search.
