Hello My Mia Bella Family,
I just signed up to be a distributor. I am so excited.
Ok, where do I go from here? Yes, I know my main contact is my sponsor and that person is awesome.
But, does anyone have any words of advice? Items for sale at a discount? Comments on items ordered that really helped or didn't help their business?
I value all comments. Please either post it here or pm me. I am not logging on to wahm very much because I want to concentrate on getting my business off the ground.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Jade and welcome to Mia Bella, what an awesome choice you have made.
You are right, your sponsor first and foremost should be your best friend. smileys/smiley2.gif It is nice to hear others and see what has worked and not worked for them.
First things first is get excited about your new business. IF you are excited about it so will everyone else. I waited until I got my cotm before I really started getting my name out there, but theres not law saying you can start telling everyone the day you sign up to visit your website and enter in the contest.
The first month or so was hard for me, I knew what a great product we have and knew that people would buy it if they tried it. First month I sold 8 votives, I know not alot, but shes been a repeat customer every since. In Sept I offered a big sale on everything, I made one sale, I have learned that its not always best to offer a discount right away, I think that some people take that as "whats wrong with the product if u are offering discounts". I however do offer discounts if they are buying multiple jars, which I believe most distributors do.
As far as items from the company must haves, brochures and biz cards. You will want to also have votives you can grate down and put into little 2x3 baggies attach to brochure or biz card, hand them out everywhere you go. Grocery store, bank, getting your hair done, where you make trips to, ask if they burn scented candles, more than likely they will say yes, give them a biz card, brochure and sample. You would be surprised how many will end up calling you.
I just did my first craft show and it went fairly well for an introduction to Mia Bella, no one there had heard of these candles. So I was sure to speak to everyone who came to my table, give them a brochure biz card and had them enter the drawing to win a free Candle. I sold tons of votives and a few bella bars, but for me it was more about getting my name out there.
I wish you the best of luck and I am sure there will be tons more post here, a little slow on the weekends.

Welcome, and congratulations! smileys/smiley32.gif Frances had some great info - also check out the back office documents for training information. There are two great documents that have great ideas on how to start.
