Well y'all, Anthony has went and done it again. He's proved once again that the company he owns is about so much more than jewelry and making money. Yes, those are awesome but Latasia is about families and that means the world to me!

Latasia Jewelry will be featured on the Today Show on December 8th with our VP, Karen Tobin and Latasia's owner, Anthony Calandrelli. Why are they being featured? Not the "direct sales" reasons but because Anthony has decided to donate $400,000 in merchandise to benefit TOYS FOR TOTS!!!! This isn't dependant on what we sell in the field, this is just a straight donation and it will be presented on the Today Show.

Latasia let the DSA know what they were doing, within 3 minutes they got a call from them telling them to be expecting a call from NBC and Karen said within 30 seconds NBC called wanting to feature them doing the donation live on air.

How awesome is that!! I'm so proud to be part of such a caring company. I've known it all along but now, because the DSA took notice of what we are really about, the world is going to know too. I'm so excited and proud and thankful!! I'm so excited for all the children who are going to be blessed because of what Anthony has done.

Hey Gina, Karen said they talked about a weekday morning but NBC wanted them on Saturday morning because it would give them a longer time slot. It's supposed to be during the 9:30 am EST hour. They are going to keep updating us as it gets closer so I'll update here as I find out more.

That is really great Krystal! It will be wonderful publicity for the company....but it is especially nice for you that you are with the company that is doingit!! I love companies that are part of/donate tocharities. (Another reason I love BW!)

I am always thrilled to hear of Companies supporting great causes. You have every reason to be proud of the company you are a special part of. I think Direct Sales Companies do so much more for charitable organizations and am glad the DSA has recognized Latasia for this.

Thought you'd all like to know that our very own VP, Karen Tobin, will be one of Santa's Elves on Saturday, December 8thwhile at the Today Show in New York City.


She received a call yesterday from the producer asking her to help out with thegifts. This is planned for around 8:30 AM EASTERN TIME. At approximately 8:56 AM EASTERN TIME, she will be featured for the generous contribution from Latasia to Toys for Tots...If you're not able to be home to watch this, make sure you set up your DVR/VCR so you don't miss it!

Thanks for the info - I am going to make sure I watch. Here is a "hug" for your company participating in such a worthy cause. When I rode motorcylcles, every year we would go on the Toys for Tots ride and it was the most wonderful feeling in the world - taking the toys to the Children's Home.
