What's your experience with having a fundraiser using your
products? Would offering the organization 20% of sales be
competitive with the typical popular fundraiser companies? Any tips for
approaching organizations?

I just finished collecting and delivering Uncle Ralph's. I'm sure their
product is good, but what a pain having to drag this stuff from the
daycare freezer, to my home freezer, etc.

Thanks

I did fundraisers with my previous party plan business.

As far competitive percentages are concerned, I've noticed that different companies will craft their program in different ways. There are even organizations out there (such as with some schools) where the school first buys the product at a wholesale price, and then the students sell at a retail price, so the school keeps the margin of profit. That's more popular with candy sales.

First, does your company offer a fundraising program, or would you just be donating a portion of your profits?

If it's a portion of your profits, you might want to consider doing the percentage on a scale, based upon sales. The higher the sales, the larger the percentage of the profit. Some consultants will even offer bonuses for bookings. I'm not sure what your profit margin in, so I don't know how much room you have to play with, but it doesn't hurt to be very generous if it means getting your name and product out there. smileys/smiley4.gif

Tupperware offers fundraisers - earning 40% of the retail - I just completed one. It was for 7h grade girls dance/cheerleading squad - they made a little over $400 - for thier profit

I can offer with my other Biz , but have not had the time to really sit and read the info on it

I agree with the profit incentive of being higher with the more sales

And also doing what you need to do to get your name out there!

Best of Luck
