As a new fragrance designer I am still toying with my perfect scent. I am a fan of sweeter/tropical fruits and florals. Some of my pre-UB favorite fragrances are Escada's Pacific Paradise and Carolina Herrera's 212 Sexy, both of which have a "cotton candy" note. Is there a way to mimic that scent with our fragrances? I have searched the Internet and can only find that it is a note in certain perfumes, not the combination of scents that make it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

3 Grapefruit, 2 Strawberry, and 1-2 Freesia make a very cotton-candy smelling concoction! Smell it first before adding the Freesia because you might think it's perfect with just the Strawberry and Grapefruit. It's kind of bubble-gummy to me until you add the Freesia, which makes it more like Cotton Candy or Frosting. (Vera Wang's new Princess fragrance has what she calls "Pink Frosting". This concoction plus a bit of chocolate is a good start for copying that fragrance.

Thanks, McKenna! I also have an almost-empty bottle of "Princess" sitting on my bathroom counter, so you get a good idea of the types of fragrances I like. I will do a little experimenting.
