OK Everyone I need ideas for hostess coaching! Any special incentive or tips and tricks you use to help make sure your hostess does her job or just in coaching her? This is the topic of an upcoming meeting so I am hoping to get some fresh ideas!! THANKS

One thing that has helped increase attendance at shows for me:
I send out my hostess's invites..and what I do- is put a stamp on some of them (right now it is an anchor- representing the Alaskan cruise) (It comes in handy to have friends and downline thatrepresent all the different scrapbooking companies...lol)Then- 3 days before the show I call her and say.." I have a treasure hunt for you! As you are calling your guests to confirm their RSVP's..ask them if they have an anchor on their invite. If you can tell me the 4 people that do..I have a gift for you!" That gives her an excuse to call them all- so she doesn't feel like she is bothering them. Also- I can then talk about the anchor stamp at my home show- which leads into a blurb about our amazing trip challenges- and the benefits of joining!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

There are many variations of great hostess coaching.
The biggest things are:
1.) Go over the hostess information with them. Ask for permission to share some tips to help them have a better party.
2.) Tell them to over invite. Only about 1/3 to 1/4 of their guests will actually come. Help them with their list if they can't think of people.
3.) Have your hostess call all the guests and personally invite them. Postcards get lost, buried and tossed. The personal invite is very, very important.
4.) Use the postcards as reminders. I have many hostesses personally hand them out.
5.) Have your hostess, or you can if you have time, do reminder calls a day or two before the event. This is another important factor.
6.) Outside orders!!!
Some other things:
--Offer a prize for bringing a friend. I do free shipping, or you can do something fun, like a door prize or discount
--Have your hostess make a wish list and share it with grandma and grandpa
--Plant recruiting seeds
--Remind her of the hostess benefits, including what she gets when someone books a show from hers!
--Let her know how much fun you are going to have.
Hope this helps!

Thanks! Do you have any kind of hostess incentive or like we had this hostess tic tac toe where there were different things in each square like hold party on original date, have 10 guests, 5 outside orders, etc. I can't find it now but does anyone know of stuff like that? It would be great if I had handouts. Basically anything to do with 'teaching' your hostess how to have a great show!
