I would like to make some candles for gifts this year and start to get a feel
for makeing them but I know in the past when I have had some store bought ones when you blow them out they have a black smoke omited
and it gets all over.
I want to be sure what ever I try to make has gret long lasting sent and no black smoke when its blown out lol hope that makes sence

You need to use soy wax thats what I use and there is no smoke involved! Good-Luck!
