Hi, all. Awhile ago I was mentioning placing an ad or something in the local paper - well guess what??? They interviewed me, took my picture and did a whole article on me and my new biz. All for FREE! Yay! I will let you know how it goes. It goes into tomorrows paper.


Plus a fundraiser I am doing is another article going in free for next week's issue - talk about great free publicity. And I was so shy, I almost didn't call them. I am glad I did it.


A lesson for all of us - you can do it and it doesn't have to cost a fortune!

Picture turned out better than I expected. Some people I knew saw it and generated a couple sales and catalog requests, questions, but not a whole lot yet- still it was free and it got attention. Nothing from complete strangers.


(It was on page 26 so perhaps it wasn't that noticable-lol) I think just getting the name out helps.

Debra, sometimes it takes baby steps. Getting that printed was just one! smileys/smiley1.gif Name recognition is HUGE! We're still a baby company, just wait until Mia Bellas is a household name.
