Question for all y'all veterans out there. How long does it take to show an order you placed online? I ordered some votives yesterday morning and never got a confirmation email, which I don't even know if we're supposed to get smileys/smiley17.gif, and I don't see an invoice generated for it in the Back Office. Is this normal or should I be contacting the home office to make sure the order went through? I did get an order # when I checked out.
It'd be great if they all arrived on the 10th when my next COTM is scheduled for delivery. WOOT! Can't wait to get that one either! smileys/smiley1.gif

I don't get confirmation emails when I order. I found (and maybe just a coincidence) that orders are filled faster by phone than online. Check again tonight and see if there is a tracking number - that will tell you when it is shipped and the day it is scheduled to arrive. Sometimes it does not show up until the day after it is shipped.

My best suggestion is call to follow up. I have had a couple of incidents where I have placed an online order, never to have it received. For example - last Monday I placed an order online. I called Wednesday because I didn't see the invoice. Turns out they never got the order. So, I called it in on Thursday. I checked yesterday and saw no tracking number. I called June and she let me know they are running a bit behind because they were just slammed with orders last week (which is wonderful!) and told me my order would be landing on my doorstep by this Friday. I am a BIG believer in follow up. Gives me peace of mind.

I have been plagued by order issues and this is what I found out from Charlie - orders are 'supposed' to be filled within 24 hours and I 've found that to be true when you call in. Orders are filled within 48 hours from online - he said it was 24, I told him that in my experience it was 48-72.smileys/smiley5.gif
As Mika said, always call and check if you are worried. The company believes that we are part of its extended family and will have no issues with a pestering (or in my case, a few) pestering phone calls.

I went ahead and called them to make sure. They saw the order but it hadn't processed yet for some reason. No matter. I got a confirmation number and hopefully the invoice will show in a day or so. It's too bad they don't have it set so you get an emailjust to verify they received your order or have a wayfor the system to show the order as pending until it's processed.

You can go in and check invoice history in your back office once it has been processed and you'll know it's there. If you are ever looking and it doesn't show up there after 3 days, call to verify.
One other thing to note - Scent-sations does not give a guarantee of turn around time. We have been fortunate that orders typically shop same day or next but we are smack in the middle of candle season and there will be a few delays from time to time.
We also just finished fall fling where the orders had them jumping for well over a week. My team alone faxed in a 2 inch stack, so imagine that across the company.
Be patient, plan WELL ahead for shows, parties or fundraisers.
