Just wanted to say Hi. I am new to Arbonne. I love the products. I'm really not a salesperson...but I got a sample of the RE9 line and fell in love. That is all the consultant did was give me a sample. So I figured "I can do that!" And now here I am.
I am 31...mom to 5. I homeschool 4 of them, so working part time from home is right for me!!
I started by hosting a party and then signed up to be a consultant. I also had an open house along with some of my up-line. I didn't have any bookings from either one. I really don't know where to go from here. I feel like I have invited everyone I know to either or both presentations. I have a booth reserved for our county fair, in August...but don't want to wait that long to get going. So, if anyone has any suggestions please pass them along!
Thanks!

your situation sounds like mine. I had a very small warm market to work with, many were already customers/wholesale buyers as several of my uplines and sidelines run in the same circles of friends. So when you start out with a small warm market, you just have to go out and build up your warm market. Open yourself up and make new friends, don't concentrate at all on Arbonne, that will come in time, have fun meeting new people.

Do you belong to a homeschool group? If not, you could start one to meet new people.

Join your Chamber of Commerce, usually they'll have monthly mixers where you go and mingle with others and network with community members.

You could contact local women's groups, churches, lodges(amvets, american legion), local mom's groups, le leche, lamaze, scout groups (den mothers), baby-sitting co-ops

with the new Men's line, weight loss, and nutrition- we don't even have to concentrate on just women smileys/smiley32.gif

place a few catalogues and/or arbonneNOW'sin teachers lounges,

break rooms for local businesses,

barber shops may be interested in the thermal fusion hair since they know all about dht and baldnesssmileys/smiley17.gif.

We just missed Nurses appreciation week, but Arbonne is great for nurses- they can't use products with mineral oil/petrolatum because it can break down the latex gloves. I have 3 kids, and it seems like I'm always at the pediatricians office, I'm sure you are with 5!smileys/smiley1.gif
Anyhow, now that I've given you some ideas, looks like I have some work to do myself! smileys/smiley36.gif
what I remember most from a CATS is this- "your mouth is your office, open it". Anyone you come in contact with on a regular basis can be considered your warm market. It's not just your friends/family members, it can be the

dry cleaner,

your hairdresser,

local cashier,

bank teller,

pharmacist,

receptionist,

waitress,

mail carrier (my upline just sponsored our UPS drivers wife)

lawyer (same upline also just sponsored her lawyers wife and secretary- they became interested when she promoted to Region and went to him to write up her will, since you can 'will' your override checks to your family when you reach Region)
Hi Cassandra,
I am siging up as a consultant tomorrow June 1st. I feel a little overwhelmed with all the information there is out there for Arbonne. I just checked out you website and your title says 'National Recruiter' What is that exactly?
Hi Carly,
I have 10 classes booked in my start month and then my well is dry. I 'm hoping to get bookings off of my classes. I find it easier to ask people I don't know that well, they have a harder time saying no than my close friends and family do.http://forum.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif
Good Luck.

Michelle, the "National Recruiter" is something I took from ENVP Jeanne Sterner. Her 15 second commercial goes something like this-- 'I am a National recruiter and trainer for a prestiguous skin care company...." I really just put that there temporarily because I am in Pennsylvania and I have a few slightly interested friends/family members in AZ, NM, FL, NYand VA, just to let them know that there are no territories with Arbonne. smileys/smiley2.gif

Hi Michelle & Cassandra~
Thanks for the tips and well wishes...Michelle~it sounds like you are off to a great start with 10 classes. How did you get them? Were they just from friends & family?
I really love these forums...with a job like this it's good to have the encouragement!

Hi Carly,
I booked my first ten classes with friends and family I knew wouldn't say no to me. I did get some rejection from a couple of people, but I knew every 'no' was one step closer to a 'yes'. After my first ten I am out of prospects...I may stand on the corner with a 'Will work for bookings' sign!http://forum.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif
Cassandra,
Thanks for the info on the 'national recruiter' title, very clever!

if it's still available, get the 2004 NTC training cd's, I listen to them often, that's where I heard ENVP Jeanne Sterner, she is amazing!
Another training avenue for our industry that I've recently found and smileys/smiley27.gif is www.danijohnson.com (http://www.danijohnson.com)

Hi Michelle, I'm like you...scared that no one will book! First of all we need to STOP that kind of thinking and start EXPECTING! Expect that you will get bookings. I have been listening to the learn and burn online trainings and someone said to write some positive affirmations 10times eachbefore you go to bed and again each morning!
I write 10 times each:
* I deserve success
*I am a sponsoring magnet
*Everyone wants to book a presentation with me and earn free & discounted Arbonne products, I'm a really good consultant.
Each day I work on staying positive and expecting a positive outcome in my Arbonne business!
Best Wishes!
Sandy

Hi Sandy,
That is great advice, I will start tonight. Maybe it is possible to convince yourself that something will happen in order to make it happen.

Hi Carly,
My name is Joyce and I'm new to Arbonne as well. I signed on in May as a wholesaler...considering the business opportunity though.
Just a bit nervous about finally making the decision. I think that it would be great for me and my family. I absolutely love the products!
Good luck to you and welcome to the Arbonne familysmileys/smiley1.gif
