Hello all,
How do you organise/run your fundraisers?
I booked a big one last night, this will be my first Arbonne fundraiser but I plan to do lot's more in the future.
I'm going to hold this one as a one off event, rather like a big party and will donate the majority of my commission. I'll also have a prize draw for a gift voucher gift voucher etc.
Is that what you do too,or are there any other suggestions?
Many thanks.Edited by: Jools

I'd also like to know! My son's school is raising money for a new playground and I'd like to do something.

I became DM by doing a fundraiser for my school/church. I have done some for American Cancer society, local park, relay for life, etc. The one at school I set up a table at pickup and on Sunday morn @ church. I had a flyer with gift ideas, it was spring so I had teacher gifts, graduation, baby shower, mother's day, etc. and samples out. They can choose anything, but they liked only having a few options. Having people see me really helped the sales. I just had a holiday open house this week with all proceeds going to the local park. Having a party gets a lot more bang for the buck. I've done some virtual (email & website) parties, but they have not been as successful. People like to see/feel/smell what they are buying for this. Also, I always give my full 35%. I would like to keep some to cover all my time & effort, but I think it works better to say all 100% of profit goes to fundraiser, makes you look more legit.
BTW, people purchasing do not get the tax write off, because they are pay SRP, you get the deduction.
