I know postage rates went up last week, does anyone know how much? Does this affect Flat Rate shipping as well?

Yeah. I was in trying to mail something and in the morning it was $19, and it went up to $21 by the time I came back after visiting the UPS store, which wanted $25.
I can't find any details. It's on the packages. Not sure if Priority Mail is included. I'm fighting with myhusband on "flat rate" means "flat rate". He's telling me (he used a stupid machine instead of a person--very GRRRRRRRRRRRRR, but another issue), that it only applies now to certain weights and paid $8 for a flat rate envelope (GRRRRRRRRRR). Ok, I shouldn't have sent him.......

Did you figure this out yet? I'm just wondering because I'm always sending stuff out. It gets expensive.

I had two different post office charge me different prices for the same mailings!!!! Yolanda on the Mia Bella board was kind enough to tell me which is correct. (she's a postal worker) They differed by about $.50 and this was for a 6X9 envelope.
It do think it does depend somewhat on weight. And it's not just weight, it's dimensional weight. Some crazy formula. But if you get the USPS boxes for flat rate, then it's a flat $8. smileys/smiley5.gif

I sell lots of things on ebay, and I primarily go with priority and priority flat rate. Flat rate here is $8.95 for up to 70 lbs. One lb. priority is $4.60, which I believe used to be $4.05, if I'm not mistaken.
Wonder why all the differences in the rate? http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif
