Effective January 1, 2006, Mia Bella Gourmet Candles will be offering a debit card and reduced medical program. The discount will be on prescription, dental, chiropractics, and vision. It will cost $9.95 per month for the entire family.

They will also offer medical insurance with no deductible, no health restrictions. Will go into effect after 90 days. The cost is $55/month for self, $137/month for self and spouse, and $144 for whole family. Later in the year they will offer catastrophic insurance.

This company is incredible.

I asked her a question there, but then though thiswould be the best place to have this discussion.

So, is this for real? Is Mia Bella offering regular health insurance for one person for $55 a month? How is this possible?

Please post your responses here. I am not interested in joining Mia Bella now, but would like this information for future reference. Plus, I think others would be interested in learning about this too.

Thank you in advance for all your responses.smileys/smiley1.gif

Hi everyone:

I just got the following message from the owner of Mia Bella. The insurance company that spoke was not to mention what he did yet.

"This is only one company we are looking at and they were NOT supposed to talk about anything other than the cash card. So the answer on insurance is that we are looking at several companies in regard to a cash card...any extras are that and if we can get them, we will.............we will make announcement when we find one."

I am really sorry it's not more definite but I'm sure they will offer something next year.

Let me know if I can answer any further questions.

Yes, I got some more info via email, but will not post until Bobby or Charlie say ok to smileys/smiley2.gif

But I am VERY excited about it - as my hubby has been hurt, and looks like may go into forced retirement - and if he does - we will still WANT/NEED insurance, and ME being totally self employed, when I checked into it before was over $400 a month for our family! (even though me and the kids have NEVER used a PENNY of it! LOL)

But we always WANT to keep it - as a *just in case* can come by and ruin everything you ever worked for~
