#1 Tip for me: Don't join a company or industrybecause someone else says it's fun and the "best company to join". Do your due dillegence prior to joining.
Do you like the products/services and will you be PROUD to represent them?
Would you recommend them to your grandmother and friends even if you weren't a consultant for that company?
Does the earning opportunity give you the ability to meet your goals? Will it be worth the effort to build this business?
Are the principals behind the company honest and ethical and do they have the customer and consultant's best in mind?
Then... know your market, know your MARKETING strategy and get busy the day you make your decision! Don't wait til you know "enough"... you know enough already!
That's my thoughts for the day!

Never join a company because the money is good(learned this the hard way!). Join because its what you are passionate about.
