What kinds of things do you do to give superior service to your clients? Birthday cards, punch cards, discounts?? Any good ideas out there? I'm sure this is why I have NOT done well with BC - b/c I don't do very good client follow-up. I'm definitely learning the hard way.

I send out a b-day postcard to each client that states "$15 off your next order". I have it expire 1 month from their b-day date. (spainvitations.com)

I am trying to get the discount VIP card thing going, especially for skincare clients. I think that will be a great motivator so theykeep up with it.

Follow up is key and I have learned that the hard way as well. It's a tough thing to do, but I think it's essential to succeed in this business.

Do you guys all do the 3 day, 2 week and 6 week phone call follow ups after your spas? Or what calls do you make? What about if they haven't been to a spa in a while - do you just call them up to say there's new product or a new sale?
