Cute concept, but I can see any rep with any food company doing this as an alternative party. Thanks for the idea! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gifI know my one daughter is my side-kick in the kitchen, so this would be attractive to parents & kids. It not only a great experience for the in the kitchen, but also good with reading skills and building math skills (measuring, adding & such).

I agree with Gina. It is something that many home businesses can adapt.

Homemade Gourmet has been doing kids cooking clases for over 2-years now.Iam sure there are other home businesses doing them as well. Is it the life-line of my business? No, but it is a nice alternative and it reaches out to even more clients in different ways than I may have met otherwise.

Would ipersonally only want to do kids classes? For me? Personally no. I need my adult interaction sometimes away from my kids (although I love them dearly!). Plus, it isn't the kids who spend the money, it is the parents.

I think with any home business, it is nice to shake things up in a while. Every so often, when I need to boosts sales differently, or I get 'bored', I try something new. I have done kids cookings in the psat.

Homemade Gourmet focuses on everyday solutions and kids cooking classes fit in our mission. I even have done etiquette classes while the food was cooking.

And, like always, for our product, I think a 10-year old can make most Homemade Goourmetitems as it is very simple cooking for the busiest of families.

Gina, I can share with you the information if you would like.

Rebecca, I would LOVE any info &tips you can share! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

BTW, if you look further at this site, it's not a direct sales companyOR a party plan. They're selling you an e-book & e-tools. One of those "buy for X amt of dollars, but if you buy by this date, you save $20 & it's only X amt of dollars". http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

Again, a great concept, but you really need to read all of this sitebefore buying. Be sure, after hitting send & giving them money, you are able to download their product.

Very good concept! My son wants to be a chef and I wondered why there wasn't something like this...now there is!
