I'm trying to set up my first fundraiser. They want a profit of $5.00 a jar. I was thinking of charging a flat $20.00 per jar. What have others charged and given? Help. Ruth

$20 a jar sounds reasonable and even if you give the organization $6 per candle, it's still a good profit margin for you.

Hope this helps.

I am doing a fundraiser rite now also for the Cheerleaders at the High School and they are getting $6 per jar, $3 on the Melts and $5 on the Mia Melter. I have the jars at 20.00 flat and the melts at $10.00 and the Melter at $20.00. I think it will be great and does get our name out there.

Good Luck!

Sounds perfect Val. I like the choices you made on what to sell for this! Way to go!

Rudie, I think 20.00 is right on target! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif
