Hi everyone,
I am sending my cousin a jar of Eucalyptus and a bakery apple pie to her workplace. She is the office manager of a plastic surgeons office/spa in New York City. She lives in Connecticut which is about a 3 hour commute so I am not sure if she will be taking the items home with her or leaving them at the doctor's office.

Would it be tacky of me to include a catalogue and business card in the package? I figure that if she leaves the items at the workplace she may have coworkers and clients inquiring about our great products! LOL

Any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Yolanda in New York

Nope, not tacky at all in my opinion. I'm sure she'll love receiving a package at workand will love showing others the great gifts. Better to include a catalog and cards with the package while the product is there in front of them. :)

I don't think it would be tacky either, Yolanda. Goodluck!

PS. Reading about her three hour commute makes me wonder, really wonder, if she might be interested in your home business opportunity!

Hi Yolanda,

I don't think it will be tacky. You can send along a simple card with "Thinking of You" on it or something like that and just say "Hey ____, I was thinking about you and I want to introduce you to my new business and this is how I started generating my income." Something like that. She will love it!

Hi everyone,

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your input. She already knows that I am sending her the jar and she enjoyed the Eucalyptus scent but she doesn't know that she is getting an apple pie as well! LOL

I'll include a little note and hope that she enjoys it!

Hi Yolandita!

I would give her a call first and let her know that you're sending it and ask her if it's okay if you send her some catalogs to share with people she works with who love clean burning gourmet candles and/or might be looking for an extra stream of income.

Way to go!
