At a party, do you only take checks or cash? Or do you take credit cards too? If you do take credit, how do you charge them for the full amount when your 35% discount automatically comes through?

I take everything! When the customer uses a credit card and pays full price, thenI get a check from @rbon for my commission!!

Hope that helps!

So when you put in their total, you put in more than what the total says? (Retail price+ ship+ tax??)

Forgive my ignorance- I am so new to this!

When I get a credit card from someone, I log in as if I am them - I use the info from the order form to sign them up as a client under me, and then I buy products online with their client ID (JUST that one time) and apply the order to their credit card. I get the commission, they get a client ID AND their order ships direct to them.

I also bring my laptop to parties if there is a wireless network, and people can buy for themselves.

Is there a way for me to charge credit cards not doing retail price and also not wholesale. For example, I am doing an informal party soon for some friends and family and would like to give them, say 20% off, that way they get a discount and I make a little. I can always just accept cash or checks but was trying to find a way for this to work too.

Also, how do you sign someone up as just a client, I have signed wholesale buyers up but not just as a client.

anyone can shop online at @, but they need a consultant ID to do that. To sign up as a client, you go to the corporate website, and click "shop online"

It will ask you to log in with your client ID, or your cnsultant ID, or to find a consultant. I think you just type in the consultant ID (yours) and then fill in their contact information and it will register them as a client of yours. Then they get their own client ID, and they can shop online anytime, and you'll get the commission.

To give someone a discount that isn't 35%, you are almost going to have to do that with checks. On the Arbonne website, you either sign in as a client and pay full price, or sign on as a consultant with the 35%. You can't set your own price. So you would almost HAVE to calculate their orders, take checks in your name, and then order it with your consultant discount on your own credit card and your "commission" is then the difference between what you paid and what the checks are worth.

If you call the 1-800 number, you can place an order and say, "I would like to pay full retail price of this order." Then the overage, your "right now money commission" will be in your next check.
I don't know about splitting the order up and paying wholesale for part and retail for the other part or that 20% discount you gave instead of the 35%, but doesn't hurt to ask.

I just did this today. You have to call it in to the 800# and tell them you want to pay retail. You charge the amount you are charging the customer to their card & the balance to your own credit card. In my case it was a retail order that I gave a break on shipping. They charged $72.60to her card & $5 to my card asI asked them to. Whensomeone signs up as a client (retail customer) they don't have the ability to use multiple cards like someone who has an account. If you put it all in under yourID then you will only be charged wholesaleso the only way to do it is to call in to the 800 number &have themdo it under you...just be sure you tell them youwantto be charged retail. Hope that helps!

You can also log yourself out of the website. Then click shop online and add something to the cart. it is going to ask you if you area consultant or need a consultant. Click that you want to be a client and you have a consultant and it will let you plug in your consultant ID, but leave you in a client state. Then you can do the same thing she outlined above with splitting the credit cards.

Note that if you are logged in as a client you need the 3 digit code from the back of the credit card.

Good luck

Unfortunately jh that still does not allow for multiple cards. Thats the reason I had to call it in. I tried again today doing as you suggested but it is not possible. Home office confirmed that you have to have a consultant ID to process multiple cards.
