http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gifOkay Ladies! I need your help! I've been with BC for over a year now, and I still can't find the right skin care line for me. I'm 25, and I have a 3 year old and 1 year old (lots of hormone changes). Right now my skin is horrible!!! I used Estee Lauder cleanser from the time I was a teenager until a year ago. I usually had one blemish on my face and sometimes a couple, but now I'm always broken out in huge, red, painful blemishes. I have somewhat sensitive skin, but I started out with the 20s line. It seemed to work for about a month, and I started breaking out. It was recommended to me by an executive director that I try the 30s line because the 20s might be drying me out too much and causing an over-compensation of oil. I tried that for a couple until Feb. (2-3 months), and I still broke out. I decided maybe my sensitive skins was making me break out, so I went to SE. That worked okay (still always broken out but not as big) for 3-4 months (June), but I suddenly started to break out big time again. I went back to 20s, and it cleared up the blemishes immediately. I went back to the full 20s line, and started the full MRP for the first time hoping it would work. For 2 months it got worse, so I got brave and tried All Clear. Immediate results, but 2 weeks later I now am so bumpy, broken out, and have painful spots all over my face. I'm so frustrated!!!! I really love our skin care, but I can't find what's right for me. I don't want to be a bad representation for the company I love, and I'm just tired of feeling ugly because of my skin. Can anybody give me help!!! I've emailed Gary, but his solutions haven't worked either. I know it is hard to give advice if you can't actually see me and my skin. I'm about to give up BC skin care and go back to what I used to use just to get some relief, but I really don't want to do that. Today I tried my old SE again to see if some of the irritation and pain would calm down. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif Edited by: bcspa_girl

I would read up on the different products in each decade line and customize your own individual line. Maybe you need an acne cleanser but a regular moisturizer and then the mask from the acne line. Or maybe your skin is also sensitive and you need some of these products. Myabe you could get your hands on some of the skin minis and play around with the products.

Just because they present these products in the decade type sets does not mean you cannot mix and match if they do not work this way for you. I love the Fango Seaweed Masque. Have you tried it? Between the clay, seaweed extracts and microderm it may help you.

I am 44 and I am using the new 50+ line. I want to get a jump start on aging and I love the cleanser and night creme from this line.

Hope my advice helps you. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

I would consider seeing an MD. The hormonal changes could have sent your skin's regeneration cycle into a tailspin. And maybe you need prescription strength topical products (or even meds) to re-balance everything.

I agree, I'd see Dr. I've never heard of this happening to anyone. I hope you get relief. Are you on BC pills? I know many times the help "clear" women up!

I would start taking vitamin A, E, and Zinc! I have had the same problem and these vitamins have helped clear up my acne if taken on a regular basis!!! If you already take a multi-vitamin still add these to your regimen! They will help clear your skin up!! I think my acne is do to stress and hormones and this seems to keep it under tabs.........

It won't hurt to try..........I would also try our All Clear topicals-and mix and match the lines as well..........

I struggled a long time after my 3rd child was born. Tried alot of different stuff, and experimenting including ALL Clear. So then I went to seemy good old Dr. He put me a minocycline for my ance thinkingthe experimentingcould of givenme abacterial infection, and DHEA for myhormonal imbalance / stress. I also continued to take an oral colloidal silversupplement known to do really well for acne naturally. My acnestarted clearing in about two weeks, and was gone bythe fifth week. At that timeI stopped taking the mino, and started on the SE line. I added in the Cell BLock late spring, and I think that made ahuge difference, too. My acne has been gone ever since, with an occasional blemish here and there.Except, while vacationing I had an amasing facial done, and I have a slight rash again onthe side of my chin that isn't clearing so I'm started taking the mino again to see if it'll clear.

I really stress at my spas the importance of using all the steps faithfully, and explain our toner reseals those pores right away so the dirt, and bacteria doesn't get trapped under the skin.

Hope you find the answer that works for you!!Edited by: sfortune

Hormones are hormones. They are the good lords little joke on women. They terrorize us as teens, rear thier ugly heads again in pregnancy, are our monthly reminders that PMS is realand cause all kinds of havoc when we hit our late fourties and creap up on MEN OH PAUSE!

No skincare can cure that. You may want to change birth control (I changed to the nuvo ring & my face completely cleared up) or talk to your doctor about this ifyou are having hot flashes or severe mood swings.

When you say you are using the skin care are you using all of it? Cleanser, scrub, toner & moisturizer? You need all 4 steps. It is so hard for me to convince my clients that they must use all of it. Especially the moisturizer it is what keeps our oils in check (and the all clear has the preventative junk in it).

Also you could try the Cell Block C 20% it's great to help resolve blemishes.

You know the cure for hormonal issues right?? It's chocolate... which again breaks out your face but it's just sooooo good!

Good luck!
