Hi, am new to this board and have a technical question. I have been accepted for a project, training possibly scheduled for the end of this month. I have a Plantronics headset that has both the speaker jacks and/or the USB jack. I currently have this plugged into the speaker port on my computer. I need to know how to connect my landline phone so that calls can be routed to my phone. Should I have the headset connected to my landline phone instead of my pc? Am confused, any advice would be helpful.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes workingirl...just plug any headset into your phone at home -- not your computer.
Their call system routes phone calls to your home phone. Your phone will ring at home and you want to use a headset so you can be hands-free for entering info into the computer.
So your landline phone does not need to be connected to your computer.
Hope this helps and welcome!

Thanks so much. I ordered a phone that would accomodate a headset and a headset to go with it. The headset I current have can only be used for VOIP. I really appreciate your help with this. Have a great day.
