Hi All of My Wonderful MiaBella Family!!! Hope you are all doing well.I just had a couple of questions on the subject of craft shows.
What do you use to cover your table? I will have an 8x8 table, and I priced material today, which at Walmart they don't have material that is wide enough to not have to sew, and buy like a million yards (well, not quite a million, OK?) I cannot sew a button on hardly, so...Where in the world could you find a tablecloth wide enough? Help!!!
I made some scented bears today and put them in mugs with melted wax poured on the bottom and a little bit grated on top for appeal. Packaged them up very nicely. So, I was going to price them at 17.00. I used one 1.00 bear, four votives, a 1.50 mug plus the packaging. Do ya'll think that sounds reasonable? Ok I will end this quiz now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!! LOL Lesly smileys/smiley1.gif

I also went and looked for material or cloths for tables, and I agree they are hard to find. I was just thinking though, you should check out restaraunt supply stores, I am sure you can find one the correct size. All of those hotels and fancy restaraunts have table cloths that fit large tables. Just a thought.

Thanks, Frances. I was even considering some type of really wide lace or eding, that you could put some kind of velcro on, just to kind of edge the table. With all of your items covering the top, that might be a thought. Lesly

You could buy a few the same color/size and double up (with all the items placed on it maybe no one will notice the seam. Place a table runner (or twisted pretty tule or material) down where the seam would be on the front side (it will hide the seam and look decorative!) Someone also mentioned to me once about using a bed sheet but that still would not be long enough.
I have been doubleing(sp) up so I cancover front sides and backs of tables and you really can't tell when all is on top of it. I was looking for skirting but it is so expensive.

Hi.. I also have another question.
How do you ladies sell your jars and bag them up for customers at the shows? Do you wrap them with bubble wrap or do you just put them in bags for the customers to carry off?
Thanks

Morning Alison,
I bubble wrap and put in plastic bags. I was looking at some nice gift bags on oriental the other the day, not to bad priced and they had some pretty holiday themed ones, but right now I just have the white 2 handle bags that say thank you on them. :)

I was plannig on putting mine in the two handle brown paper bags with some nice tissue paper. You could vary the tissue according to the time of year. Nashville Wraps has pretty good prices on their things, and lots of variety. Lesly
