When I place an order I usually get it the next day it is shipped out as I am in Texas. I placed an order on Monday and wondered why I haven't received it yet since it was shipped out on Tuesday. So I checked it on beautinet and it says he was shipped out USPS and not Fedex. I thought they shipped only Fedex. This order is probably the smallest I have ever placed and just wondered if that has something to do with it. Could that be the reason it shipped USPS and not Fedex? Guess I could call customer service once my boss goes to lunch and see what happened. I just wondered if anyone else has evered had their orders shipped USPS. Anyone?

I have had small things that were backordered arrive USPS, things like lipsticks.

I have but only when it's been a product replacement so it would be one or two items.

I've had the same thing as the other ladies--if it was a backorder or a product replacement it came USPS.
I'm just trying to figure out what is taking my order so long to ship out. They must be busy there.

This has happened to me quite a few time...drives me crazy!! I don't know if they do this by weight or by the box size...but it takes WAAAYYY too long to come USPS.

Yeah I was confused too. BC made such a big deal on ONLY using FedEX starting August 1st, but every now and then they use USPS and it sucks. Sorry, but it does... so slow. i'm just impatient. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

Actually my FedEx sucks! Things have been very slow for me lately. It's taking 7 - 8 days to get an order.

Yes this is driving me crazy! I am so use to Fedex delivery the next day. I waited too long to order my skincare but figured I would get it right away.Iranout ofsome of my skincare on Tuesday but figured 1 day will beOK. Now since it is coming USPS, it says it won't arrive until Tuesday (since Monday is a holiday)!! I am completely out of scrub, tonic and cleanser!! I just sold the other set I had soI don't have any more in stock until my order arrives. Guess I will use what I have in my case for now.

from my experience it is based on weight ( i think)if they ship it FEDEX or USPS...and usps orders do take extra long to get to you...i dont know what the minimum weight is but i try to order a few extra things if i can to make it heavier and be shipped fedex....i think its takingeven a little longer with fedex right now due to the last minute orders and it being a $99 sign up and all the 55% off orders....my order took a week or longer with fedex this past week http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif

They have also added this Smartpost thing which is making it worse, I think. I have a girl that signed up last week and her Beauticase was "shipped" on the 26th! She still has no beauticase (even though she placed a qualified order 2 days later and it arrived yesterday!). We can't track her beauticase because they are just starting this smartpost thing and the "tracking isn't updated" (that's per BC) and FedEx "has no way to track it" (that's per FedEx). Normally it takes about 3 days to get my shipments through FedEx and this girl lives about 15 min away from me.
When I talked to FedEx, they sort of explained this whole SmartPost thing to me like this: FedEx picks up your package from the warehouse and does NOT deliver it to your home! They deliver it to the post office, who then delivers it to you. This is why FedEx has no way to "track" the package. I am not liking this new way of doing things! I really hope that it is just because they are just starting this that it isn't going smoothly, but I have 3 girls that signed up last week, 1 on Tues and 2 on Wed. The 1 on Tues is the one that was shipped on the 26th and we can't figure out where it went. One of the one's on Wed received hers two days ago. The other one on Wed shows that it will be at her house Saturday ish. THey all live in the same county and about 15 minutes apart from each other. The only one that received her package is the only one that was NOT SMARTPOST!!! Is anyone else having this same issue? Normally I love FedEx and I know that BC is behind right now, so I am ok with that aspect of it. I just don't know about the new thing.

Part of my order of September 24, still hasn't been shipped and the part that was shipped is touring the south. It spent 24 hours in Atlanta, GA, then has spent 24 hours in Charlotte, NC. I don't know where it will go next. It left Charlotte this afternoon and I'm suppose to get it on October 10. I only live about 3 hours from Charlotte, so I wonder where it will go that will make it take 6 more days to get to me.

I just called BC and after waiting about 10 minutes, got to talk with someone. Lots of excuses because of the "big sale", but she said they are caught up now. However, I still have some stuff that is in "packing". She did say that the package has to be over 10 pounds to be shipped Fedex. I guess that means that if we want our order faster, we have to order more!

Very clever and sneaky way to get us to order more.... I just need FedEX because USPS is way too slow.

I would question that ten pounds thing because my order just shipped yesterday and it says it is Fed Ex Home Delivery as always and it says that the package is 3.7 pounds.
Maybe it is on a case by case basis and the fact that they have been so backlogged and busy has something to do with it.

OK, here is something I just received from my unit:
"With record orders in September, we had the largest shipping volume in company history last month! This increased order volume resulted in longer processing times. Know that delivery of your orders is of utmost improtance to us!
Log on to BeautiNet.com and click on 'order status' at the top of 'the latest' page to see when existing orders will be shipped.
Also during September, BeautiControl began using FedEx SmartPost in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam after testing as a service enhancement for all of our Consultants. This method of shipping was used to enhance delivery an estimated two days earlier than usual shipping times. We are evaluating what occurred to delay shipments that were not seen in the previous test period.
However, effective immediately, all packages will be shipped via FedEx or USPS. The delays you've experienced recently are temporary and will be back to normal levels late this week."

I had something come last month through that smartpost and it took 10 days to get here. I usually receive Fedex stuff 3 days later and USPS 2 days later. I do not like that Smartpost. They need to just go back to Fedex and USPS.

I sent an email today to Pat Taylor, my regional VP about the delays in packing and delays with the new shipping system. She responded within hours withthe following encouraging email.
We apologize for this inconvenience to your business. Your email reveals that you are a very savory business woman. We have returned to our past shipping arrangements, so you should begin to receive your shipments in the time frame that you have come to expect.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Again, please accept our apologies for the delays that you have experienced.

so I just finally tracked my order today from the 24th...I hadn't been too worried about it because I wasn't in a hurry for it, but now I am doing a booth this weekend and I really need the stuff...so mine was also sent usps...it went through dallas, to L.A., to sacramento, to san francisco to richmond, where it has been sitting for 3 days!!!usually my stuff goes straight from texas to sac, then to santa rosa and I get it the next day after that...hmmmm....arrrrrgggh!

Okay...not to beat a dead horse here...BUT!! BC is sending almost everything that has been backordered USPS. Clients are getting angry by the long waiting times and I am having to "make-it-up" with a mini or some kind of "I'm sorry" gift. So now I've placed another order, guess how they sent it...YEP...USPS. This is a REGULAR order...not sale items!! BC has NEVER sent a regular order to me USPS! When I go to check the tracking...It's not even in the system w/USPS...says it'll be Mondaybefore it even leaves!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif How can BC send me an email that says my order is on it's way...but it's siting at the postoffice over the weekend?
Okay, here's where I'm REALLY worried and irritated....I m leaving for a 10 day vacation on 10.18 (Thurs.) If this order hasn't arrived by then, MY CLIENTS WILL BE FURIOUS...and I can't say I blame them. Yes, I can call, etc. But tis is POOR customer service by BC!! I placed that order on Thursday (10.11); In a year and a half of doing this...It has NEVER taken this long to get orders shipped to me....So because of this, my clients also expect to receive their products within a week...Not GOOD...Not GOOD!
Any suggestions?????

Fed Ex is the one that is slowest for me. It spends 2 days in Tx when it's shipped out and 2 days in Phoenix before it gets on the truck to be delivered. Then there is the packaging time and the actual travel time. It seems that since mid summer there has been anoticable slow down in the whole process. I used to get orders within four days of ordering. Now it's closer to 9. If they have changed something it is not working!

Celeste, call Customer Care and check on status. I called last week because my new recruits weren't receiving part one of their kit for 2 weeks (unbeknownst to me until one called me). I was told that BC cancelled the SmartPost service last week due to the inconsistancy of delivery. I hope that is true!!! Call and check and let us know.

I called CC yesterday, and got the run around again!! So, I sent an emailto my Regional VP, Patty Higgins. I am hopeful that she will make our concerns known and HEARD!!
CC said yesterday that orders are shipped according to weight...I said, I've heard that but in the year and a half I have been doing this, NONE of my retail orders have shipped USPS...regardless of weight. Then I get ... Well, if you placed the order at the end of the day and it went to shipping and it was after FedEx picked-up...they will decide to go ahead and send it USPS. I said...next time...PLEASE wait till the next day! Becuase that decision has now cost me clients and one week shipping time!!
I hate to complain...but maybe if we all make our concerns known they'll change this!! We need consistancy!!

I've had the same problem with FedEx. This last order I put in, took 2 weeks to get to me!!!! And it came by FedEx! I don't think FedEx has any type of delivery that takes 14 days!
I sent a complaint to Orders@beauticontrol.com (Orders@beauticontrol.com) and have yet to hear back from them. But I told them that I think it is unfair to the consultant as well as to our clients to have to wait 2 weeks for an order to be delivered! (And none of the items that I ordered, were on backorder...they were all currently in stock).
