I was on a call last night with an ENVP and it seems strategies are starting to change from offering everyone the wholesale account to only offering it to those who will host a party or give 5 referrals. This makes a lot of sense to me. At parties, the products are offered at retail and the Host is able to qualify to get the w/b membership. Any thoughts?

Well, I think it says so much for our company that they are working so hard to get rid of some of the "bad apples" so to say. This company is so awesome!!

I was at a recent training and and ENVP also stated the same thing. She said, why are we giving away our products? And it really hit home with me (which i think explains why i've been in a major stall out)! We need to be proud of our products, so proud that we are willing to believe in them so much to sell them @ retail or have someone book a party to get the discount.
She also stated, that she has heard some concerns about, "well, if I don't sign them up, someone else will." Her comment was this: "Shame on anyone who signs up someone that has been speaking to another consultant. Shame on them for taking away the other consultants income, maybe it's their childs tuition $, maybe it's grocery $, maybe it's their car or house payment...so shame on them if they sign up somone you've been talking to. AND she said, if they are willing to sign up with the other consultant JUST for the discount, you probably dont' want them on your team anyway!!"

I'm excited about the changes being made! I think the changes willattract more peoplewho are looking for integrity and values.

Make it a great Tuesday!!

I agree. Apparently Dana Collins team has been using this strategy for over a year and it is very successful. Personally, I love the idea. It will bring us 'right now' income which @ has always encouraged

YES!!!!!!! I think that is why it's been tough to keep consultants going because if you're signing everyone up, your not making RIGHT NOW $$. I love saying to a hostess, " okay, this is what you earned tonight hosting your party, do you want to know what I earned tonight?" I think we really need to show people that it isa business where you can earn money right away.

And by the way, I think Dana Collins is the BOMB! She reminds me of a little Donna Johnson!! GREAT ethics, GREAT attitude, GREAT love!!

This is absolutely the best way to do biz! My upline sponsor does offer the wholesale account, but always asks for a party or referrals in return. Not only do you give up your commission, but it takes away from the hostess' party benefits. Everyone needs "right now" money - it's the reason I started in the first place...we've got bills to pay!
And you're right about Dana Collins...she's my ENVP upline and just the best!

See you all at the top!

Keep in mind though that some folks don't mention that they have been in touch with another consultant. There's a lady in a group I'm in & we have struck up quite a relationship over the last 6 months or so. A couple of weeks ago, she asked for a product. I had an order going in & added it to the order. I was talking with another Arb0nne friend of mine & mentioned this...she said I should also give her a sample of another product that she knew the lady would be interested in. I asked how she knew that & she said she had talked with her about it. The lady in my group never mentioned it & I hadn't offered a discount or otherwise, she just knows through our group affiliation what I do. I spoke to my fellow Arb0nnite about it & she said to go for it which made it easier but it could have been uncomfortable. I always refer back to the original consultant but I have run into some folks who did mention that they had spoken with someone else but did not like their approach/sales pitch/style. Some have been adamant about not doing business with the original rep. Sometimes we have to remember that people simply do business with those they are most comfortable with (know, like, & trust).

As for this whole issue of offering the discount/account for 5 referrals/bookings...I love it! How are they addressing the 3 ways to win?Edited by: Kiana's Mom

I don't know how they will address it. Maybe we sign them on as consultants if we get the 5 referrals or they host a party!

Hi,
I was at a training last month where they said the same thing. They said they still talk about the three ways to win and when they get to #2...signing on as a consultant, they say that if you book a party tonight, they will give you the 35% discount and thenset up your consultant accountthe night of your party. Regarding referrals, I'm not sure...Edited by: bethy427
