Just wondering if anyone has used pay per click advertising (like Overture or Google) to get traffic to their site. If so, are you happy with the results?

Thanks! smileys/smiley1.gif

I'm not sure but I don't know that it would be allowed by corporate. But you could check to be sure.

My understanding is that as long as the we don't target "Arbonne" or product names in our advertising, it's okay. So anything very general like "skin care" or "cosmetics" would be acceptable.

Tried it for a little while.....I found that I got almost as many visitors without it ~ and it was getting expensive so I stopped using it (Google AdWords). I never had any sales from my website during that time ~ I have had some since then. May work for you though, you never know.

Thanks, Stacie...that's exactly what I need to know. Thinking I MAY try Overture, just because there's a $100 credit for $50 spent. I'm really great at thinking of ways to throw away money! smileys/smiley2.gif

Jennifer - I would ask Arbonne first. This may be an old policy, but I remember from a while back, the mention of Overture not being allowed because it has the potential to put a consultant's site ahead of the Arbonne corporate site.

I'll do that, Melle...thanks for the heads up! (I've seen other consultants using Overture, but I suppose there are plenty of people that may not be following the rules).

OK, I looked up the policies and procedures online and it says that you can do PPC if you do not use the name Arbonne or any of Arbonne's trademarks, product names, etc. Search terms have to be generic like "beauty" - "cosmetics" - "supplements", etc.

If you do this, let us know how it works for you! smileys/smiley4.gif
