Do you send out Thank you cards to clients that purchased items at your spa?And what do you say in them...
I would like to do this but I am kind of stumped on what to say.

To save on shipping, I simply put a thank you card in their bag with the order. I put confetti in it too, so it has a little "extra" to it! It is hard to forget (and forgive) people who put confetti in a card!

Christy,
I am guessing that you don't take inventory with you to your spas, is that right?

I too just put a coupon in their bag. Thanking them for there purchase. It also gives them 10% off their next order and 20% off the spa facial set.
Thank you note just goes to the hostess, or a new recruit in the mail!!

I do keep inventory on hand of certain things. I keep everything in a rolling cart and sack up the products when I go outside to put the orders together. I can have the thank you cards made ahead of time and just ad their name. I am also experiementing with a new idea for a discount card that I am adding to the bag also. It does not take long to do, and i always wrap each itme in tissue paper, it is almost like a little store in my suv!

In my last unit meeting, someone said they use a discount card too. Everytime a person makes a purchase, the consultant would punch a hole in her card... once she makes 5 purchases, she gets $10 in free products, 8 purchases, $15, then 12, $20 and then 15 is $30. She also keeps a card with the client's name on it for herself so there is no extra hold punching cheats. lol

I do the frequent spa-er dicount card too.
I'm from the south so I still send hand written thank you notes (Emily Post & my grandmother are both dead but my granny would haunt me if I didn't send them) So yes I do send thank you notes. Yes it takes time but I want to thank even those who came but did not purchase. Having said that sometimes it takes me a while to send them I do it when I have time. But I feel that sometimes them getting them a month later is better because it makes them remember me later. I have had them get the thank you note and call me (I always include a couple of cards) and say hey my sister is getting married could you do a spa for us or I want to get that microderm abraision, I didn't have the money that night but I have it now.
What do I say?? Short & sweet. "Thank you for coming to the Spa Escape please let me know how I can pamper you & take care of your skincare & image needs in the future."
Yes you can have them preprinted & put in the bags. That works fine. But in this day & age the Thank you note has fallen off somewhere so when you send them hand written in the mail it just makes you stand out above the rest.
Either way as long as you are thanking them you are fine.

I send hand written thank you notes and put confetti in the envelope. I have clients tell me that they received my thank you note and love the confetti.</font>smileys/smiley2.gif</font> So it feels good to know that they know you appreciate them and their business.
I agree with spa girl tammy - </font>Thank you note has fallen off
somewhere so when you send them hand written in the mail it just makes
you stand out above the rest.
If anyone has a coupon card I would love to see it. You can email me at beautyme@bellsouth.net

Someone I know said she spritzes her letters with Brown Sugar Cologne. I'm going to try that next time.
